Hello everyone I would like to spend a week in the summer vacations in the mountains more specifically in Flims and would be happy if you accompany me. Together we will stay in an apartment for a week and start our excursions from there. Since the Surselva area has a lot of activities to offer, we will experience many different great things. We will do smaller and bigger hikes, go swimming, climb a via ferrata, walk the longest treetop trail and river rafting in the Rhine Gorge. You will also get some time for yourselves, or we can have some more adventures together. In the evening we will have dinner together in the apartment. Depending on whether desired and how the group decides we can also go out to eat. I would just appreciate it if we can spend time together in the evening from time to time. Since we will be very active and will be doing some physically demanding activities, some basic athletic equipment is desired. We will certainly do a hike that lasts over 6 hours and also the river rafting is quite challenging. It is possible to skip these activities, however I will not have a fixed alternative program planned. The rooms: 1x room with 2x bunk beds (4 persons) 3x room with 1x double bed (2persons each) (After consultation with me, a double bed for 1person can also be booked for an extra charge) What you should take with you: -Sturdy shoes -swim trunks and towel -Comfortable hiking clothes (there is the possibility to wash) -If available light climbing equipment (safety harness and helmet) -Daily backpack for food -Normal clothes/something cozy to wear indoors What is included in the price: -Guest card for transportation and various discounts. -Local transport system (without post bus) -Climbing equipment -accommodation and swimming pool 100m away (unlimited stays) -entrance to treetop path -entrance to the lakes Not included: -arrival and return (as different) (there are 3 parking spaces available free of charge, first one to sign up gets one) -Postauto/train (as different) -food (we decide together what to buy and then share) -River rafting (optional) additional 110CHF

It was an amazing experience! Niklas is a great host, friendly and easy to communicate with. He was always ready to accomodate more activities during the trip. He's also a nice cook and I would recommend his special rissoto!

Trip Itinerary
1

Via Nova

Day 1-2
Arrival. We will all meet at the apartment and depending on the time of arrival we will do some small business. During the afternoon we will then go shopping together and make a meal plan for the week. In addition, we will assign the activities together to the days, because this way we can make the most of the weather and always have the right conditions.
2

Laax

Day 2
In the morning we will start walking towards Ils Spir (the viewpoint of the Rhine Gorge) and will see part of the route where we will go river rafting. from there we will continue walking and visit the longest treetop trail in the world. We will have a cozy evening and discuss the next day. Probably we will go to bed early because the next morning at 5:00 am is announced to get up.
3

Pinut

Day 2-3
We will climb the historic via ferrata ¨Pinut¨ and then hike over the Flimserstein. At 5:00 am we will get up and at 6:00 am we will set off. The total hike will take about 8h, depending on how fast we go and how often and long we take breaks. Back in the village we will finish the hike comfortably in a restaurant. We will be in some places very far above the ground, this is accordingly not suitable for people with vertigo.
4

Caumasee

Day 3-4
We will visit one of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland and spend a leisurely day at it. Depending on your mood, we can also stay only half the day because the lake is often very crowded, we can alternatively spend the afternoon leisurely in the village or take the gondola up the mountain and make another walk there.
5

Rheinschlucht

Day 4-5
Today will be adventurous, we will go rafting in the Rhine Gorge River! Between Ilanz and Reichenau the millennia have created an extraordinary landscape: rapids that will take your breath away, vertical cliffs, deep canyons and steep scree are the ingredients of this adventure cocktail. We are in the GRAND CANYON of SWITZERLAND, the Mecca of rafting. In Versam after 10 km, rafting we will spend some more time together and from there we will take the public transport back to our accommodation. We let the evening end with raclette and wine in the accommodation.
6

Flims

Day 5-6
Today is free for everyone, maybe you have something you always wanted to do in the Surselva region. You can rent a mountain bike and ride down one of the known trails or go swimming at the Crestasee (I find this lake almost more beautiful). We can also make a plan together. There are a lot of activities you can do. -hike to the glacier mills on Alp Mora -Mountain biking -Climbing in the rope park -To a bathing lake -In the city of Chur to store in the old town It would be great if we could do something together or in smaller groups but it is up to everyone what they want to do.
7

Flims

Day 6-7
Departure We will have breakfast together one last time. Then independent check-out, depending on the departure time we can still arrange a joint program for the morning.
