Tías
Day 1-15
Tías is going to be our home base for the trip. The town itself is a blend of traditional Canarian architecture and modern amenities. Whitewashed buildings with green or blue accents line its streets, reflecting the island's characteristic style. Tías is less touristy than some of Lanzarote's coastal areas, offering visitors an authentic glimpse into local life. This makes it an excellent base for exploring both the island's beaches and its volcanic landscapes, including the nearby Timanfaya National Park.

Lanzarote
Day 15
Let’s begin our adventure with a tour of the most iconic spots of the south of the island! Yaiza, a picturesque village often hailed as one of the most beautiful towns in Lanzarote Los Hervideros, a dramatic coastal area where volcanic cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean. It’s an ideal spot for photography and marveling at the interplay of fire and water that shaped Lanzarote. El Golfo, a fishing village famous for its unique natural wonder, and the Green Lagoon, a striking green pool, colored by algae and contrasting with the black sand beach and red volcanic cliffs. Salinas de Janubio, the largest salt flats in the Canary Islands, are both picturesque and historically significant. La Hoya, a quiet hamlet near Playa Blanca, enjoying a cerveza with the tranquil ambiance as we watch the sunset over the Atlantic.

Timanfaya National Park
Day 15
Timanfaya National Park is one of Lanzarote's most iconic attractions. We’ll embark on the Ruta de los Volcanes on a guided bus tour that winds through the park’s extraordinary volcanic landscape. We’ll marvel at the surreal terrain of lava fields, craters, and volcanic cones, a result of eruptions from the 18th and 19th centuries. We’ll head to the La Geria wine region, just a short drive away. Along the way, admire the striking landscape of black volcanic ash fields dotted with green grapevines, each planted in a shallow pit or protected by stone semicircles to shield them from the wind. The result is a truly unique vineyard setting unlike anywhere else in the world. We’ll visit a local winery and stay to savour some typical dishes of the local cuisine.
