Hello :-) I'm traveling the east coast + Melbourne from 23.09-12.10. Three whole weeks to discover the wonderful east coast of Australia =) This is my first time in Australia. I come from Frankfurt and am 35J. Would be super cool to find 1-3 people :-) I will go with the Greyhound (bus) but gladly also with car at the individual places. My route: 22.09: Reach Sydney from Frankfurt (Emirates) 23.09: Blue Mountains 24.09: Night bus to MELB 25.09: Philip Island 26.09: GOR tour (full day) 27.09: Afternoon flight to Cairns ---- From here East Coast 28.09: Daintree Rainforest 29.09: Cape Tribulation Tour 30.09: Bus to Townsville, on to Magnetic Island 01.10: Afternoon to Airlie Beach onwards 02.10-03.10: Whitsundays 04.10: On to Hervey Bay (Whale watching) 05.10-06.10: Fraser island 07.10: On to Noosa 08.10: Brisbane 09.10-10.10: Gold Coast and Byron Bay. Night bus to Sydney 11.10: Celebrate last night in Sydney. 12.10: Back to Frankfurt. People who are interested to plan the tour with me /to accompany me or are there at the same time are welcome to contact me :-) Am just researching what there is to do in each place on the east coast to enjoy it in the best possible way.
By arrangement - but mostly hostels. Possibly you could share a room to save costs. 2-3 nights also camping / camping at Uluru.

We arrive in Sydney (I fly from Frankfurt). The next day we make a trip to the Blue Mountains.

Melbourne
Day 3-6
From Sydney we continue to Melbourne. On the 2nd and 3rd day there are excursions where we explore the Great Ocean Road and Philipp Island. The Great Ocean Road is supposed to be an absolute highlight. The diversity of nature there is something you have to see. We can rent a car or book a tour.

Cape Tribulation
Day 6-9
We fly to Cairns the following day and in the next two days do tours to Cape Tribulation and Daintree Rainforest. Cape Tribulation should be excellent.

Whitsundays
Day 9-13
Afterwards we start either by car or by Greyhound bus further down to Sydney. First to Townsville, where we also visit the Magnetic Island. Then on to Airlie Beach and 2 days at the Whitsundays =)

Fraser Island Beach Track
Day 13-17
On we go! Now we continue to Hervey Bay, where we can even see whales. The next two days we spend in Fraser Island. The island is famous for its white sandy beaches. One day we spend in Noosa.

Brisbane
Day 17-20
We continue to Brisbane the following day. Here we spend 3 days exploring the Gold Coast and surfing at Byron Bay :-)

Sydney
Day 20-22
Back to Sydney the following day. The last night we celebrate in Sydney and on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and discuss together our great memories from the trip. The next day return flight to Frankfurt / Germany.
