You have probably heard of Cappadocia already and seen many Instagram pictures of this unique place. We had a wonderful weekend all round. Katharina took care of everything and always made sure that everyone was included and that every wish was fulfilled. 🤗
We will meet in Göreme, where our accommodation is located. We will sleep inside a typical stone Hotel. Depending on our arrival, we can already explore the area together. Let me know if you need advice on how to get there! In the evening, we will have our first dinner together! Turkish food is awesome. It’s one of my favorite cuisines so far because of its diversity.

Day 2-3
Without a doubt, riding a hot air balloon over this alien landscape is the most epic thing you can do in Cappadocia. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and there is no better place in the world to do it than here. I'm planning this on our first morning, so just in case the weather will be bad, we can do it on another day and not miss out on it! After our balloon tour, we will have breakfast together before exploring the area.

Day 3
Cappadocia means “land of the beautiful horses”, so what better way to explore this unique landscape than on horseback? I will book a beginners tour for us and the horses are very friendly, so don't worry :) On one of our evenings, we can go watch one of the traditional "Dervish shows" together (entry prices vary)

Day 3-4
Hiking day! We will get a private driver that brings us to some stunning locations for great hikes. Highlights include an underground city that goes 300 ft below the surface of the earth and a picturesque hike through a valley honeycombed with rock-cut dwellings and churches.

Day 4-5
Today will be more relaxed! After breakfast, we can make use of our pool or go for some souvenir shopping. In the afternoon or evening (depending on availability), we can join a Turkish cooking class together. Please let me know if you have any allergies.

Today will be more hiking as well as sightseeing - on the famous "red-tour" of Cappadocia. We will visit the Uchisar castle and also the city of Avanos. This neighboring village is known for its pottery and beautiful old town. We can decide together where to go for a hike. The most popular places are the Love Valley and Rose Valley.

Departure day! Depending on everyone's departure time, we can plan some extra activities. I would also love to go to a viewpoint to take some pictures with the balloons in the background. See you on the next trip!
