Basically a nice vacation, wind, sea sun all good. Unfortunately there was no sun protection on deck and some of the ship's displays were not reliable/defective (fresh water display and waste tank display defective). It was definitely an adventure. I would not make the trip again knowing this.

Apart from that, great location, people and boat :-) A small suggestion for improvement would be to add the participants to the Whatsapp group as soon as they have registered. That way you can coordinate your accommodation and trip, as we have now partly traveled the same route separately because we had already booked.

Day 1-2

The drive from Athens airport to Alimos Kalamaki marina takes about 1 hour. It would be good if you could be in the harbor by early afternoon (2pm/15pm). We will meet in the harbor on the first day, go shopping together and get to know each other over dinner. During the trip we will cook on board, but also try out the harbor restaurants. However we feel like it. On the first day there will be a briefing for you and your TripMates and then we will spend the night sleeping on the boat in the harbor so that we can get used to the gentle rocking (better than any cradle!).

Day 2-3

After a hearty breakfast, we set sail for the Mediterranean. We sail for about 3-5 hours a day, depending on the weather and our mood. If there's a complete lull, don't hang your head, just get into the refreshing water!

Every day is different and every day is simply beautiful. Today we continue on the sailing route southeast past Dokos to Spetses. In the course of our trip, a fantastic bay awaits us in the northwest, where we will lie very quietly and enjoy the stars after a sundowner.

If we are in the mood for culture, we sail just a few miles to the port of Hydra today. This unique port, where the only means of transportation are donkeys and horse-drawn carriages, leaves nothing to be desired. During the day, we can stroll through the alleyways of the town and treat ourselves to a frappé, the typical Greek iced coffee, while listening to relaxing music. If you dare, you can jump off the cliffs into the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea in front of the bar.

Day 5-6

Perhaps we have indulged in a Greek wine or two in the tavernas of Hydra harbor and our day starts a little later than the others. We can simply choose the most beautiful bay on the island and enjoy a long day of swimming.

Day 6-7

Strengthened, tanned and refreshed, we set sail for Poros today. How about a shore excursion on a scooter? In the evening we have a leisurely meal at the Greek restaurant Mikelos. They serve this delicious feta in puff pastry with honey ;).

Athens

Day 7-8

Our sailing adventure ends, as it should, with a proper sail from Poros to Athens. You have the chance to apply everything you have learned in the last week, to tackle and sail along. So that when you arrive in port, you realize that sailing is a sport. And how relaxed you feel after a week of water, sun and wind.
