What's special?
special NEUSEELAND !!!
We (5 men and women who know each other partially) and give one last person the chance to join us. We are looking forward to interesting requests! We are all between 24 and 29 years old and partly surfers or surf-interested and divers as well as diving-interested. This is not our reason for traveling, but it is allowed to include it a little bit. Rough planning: We will pick up on Monday, 30.10. at 08:30 our camper - rental car near the airport in Auckland and return it on 25.11.23 during the day. The route lives from the team - input! Of course, I have prepared a map with quite a few potential sights and will also prepare the correspondingly important route posts for the camper. But everything else can and should also live a bit from your interests. I think in New Zealand we have a lot of options from hiking, snorkeling, diving, surfing to helicopter tours or stargazing at night. Basically, I'm very happy to be infected by the respective enthusiasm and have the one or the other already made or tried and was rarely disappointed :) The only fact is that you have to be willing to compromise! I am relatively sure that you will get almost everything in the 4 weeks, but maybe not at the same place and certainly not at the same time. A bit of flexibility is just part of it!

About me: I am Johannes and 29 years old. For me traveling every trip is a new passion which motivates me to go to work every day :) I am very active on vacation and like to try something new. With a camper I was also not yet on the road, but car / cab / van / motorcycle or even boat driving was always me and therefore you need to worry about the driving itself at least already times no thoughts and I think the rest is now also no witchcraft!

About the camper: The camper has X sleeping places and the certification "Self Contained". -> Mandatory for "Wild Camping / Freedom Camping -> Shower / WC -> Own water and waste water supply So the goal is, I think, also clearly defined -> We want to stay as often as possible in the wild and not on campgrounds -> Beach / Outback (starry sky), in the mountains, on the mountains, at the lake or wherever we like it at the moment -> Unfortunately, it will NOT always be possible, because as I understand it, the camper must despite everything every few days times to the electricity to fill the batteries again. Of course, the fresh water must also be filled and the waste water emptied, but that goes as far as I know also at stations on the road outside and independently of the campsites. I am not an experienced camper / motorhome tourist or the like, but have a bit of experience in planning and organizing trips and therefore I'm good things that a motorhome will not overwhelm us.

Trip Itinerary
1

Auckland Airport

Day 1-2
We start on 28.10. in Frankfurt / Munich and land on 30.10. around 6 am together in Auckland. Afterwards, I think we will go for breakfast, since the camper is only available from 8:30. After we have grabbed the camper, it depends, I think, very much on how we have coped with the long journey and how fit we are still the same day :) The only mandatory program for the arrival day will probably be shopping and setting up for the round trip and everything else we see then!
2

Te Ika-a-Māui / North Island

Day 2-12
Right away, I don't want to give you a detailed route or plan, because the freedom and flexibility is just the great thing about touring New Zealand with a camper. Of course, we still want to take as much as possible and therefore there are many options that are already laid out. That would be on top the route over: Eyefull Tower Otama Beach Cathedral Cove Coromandel Forest Park etc Of course, the Hobbit Movie Set in the middle of the North Island should not be missed. Furthermore very interesting: Rotorua Waitomo Caves Tongariro National Park
3

Te Waipounamu / South Island

Day 12-26
Then we take the ferry across to the South Island. I would have started with the west coast and would take the east coast on the way back. Again, many many options! In addition to the "Touri Sightseeing", the route also takes into account the interests for divers and surfers, so you can really take as much as possible here :) Again, just to name a few nice places to include in the route: Tahunanui Beach Abel Tasman National Park Fox Glacier / Mount Cook Blue Pools Roys Peak Key Summit Milford Sounds Mirror Lakes Fiordland National Park Cape Farewell Jellyman Park
4

Te Ika-a-Māui / North Island

Day 26-29
Then via the east coast back to Auckland. It is planned to arrive here 2-3 days before departure again to then still take the route to Cape Reinga and on 25.11. around 16 clock is then already the return flight!
