Muscat
Day 1-2
Picture yourself landing in Muscat, the vibrant capital of Oman, where your adventure begins. Sur
Day 2-3
The next morning, the real adventure starts as you head south, leaving the city behind for the rugged coast. The road hugs the shoreline as you make your way to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s hidden treasures. After a short boat ride, you hike through the canyon, surrounded by towering cliffs, until you reach the crystal-clear pools of water hidden deep within. You plunge into the refreshing pools, swimming toward a hidden cave with a waterfall inside, a secret world few get to see. As you continue toward Sur, you stop at the Bimmah Sinkhole, a stunning natural formation where you can take a quick dip in its turquoise waters. By sunset, you arrive in Sur, a sleepy coastal town where the history of Oman’s maritime past comes alive. Watching the traditional dhow boats being crafted by hand, you can almost hear the whispers of the sailors who once navigated these seas.

Wahiba Sands
Day 3-4
Brings you face to face with one of nature’s most awe-inspiring spectacles: the nesting sea turtles at Ras Al Jinz. Before dawn, you stand in the soft glow of the morning light, watching as these ancient creatures lay their eggs on the beach, a truly humbling experience. Afterward, the landscape transforms dramatically as you drive inland to the vast, rolling dunes of Wahiba Sands. The golden expanse of desert stretches as far as the eye can see, and the thrill of driving through the dunes in your 4x4 makes your heart race. Jebel Akhdar
Day 4-5
The journey takes you to Wadi Bani Khalid, a green oasis in the middle of the desert. After a few days of dust and sand, the sight of palm trees and clear water is a welcome change. You swim in the cool pools, wander through the palm groves, and explore the small caves hidden within the wadi. But the road beckons once again, and soon you find yourself climbing the steep, winding roads up to Jebel Akhdar, Oman’s famed “Green Mountain.” As the air cools and the scenery shifts to terraced farms and blooming rose gardens, you realize that Oman’s diversity is nothing short of breathtaking. You spend the night in the mountains, the cool breeze a welcome contrast to the desert heat.

Nizwa
Day 5-6
The adventure doesn’t stop there. Day five brings you to the historic city of Nizwa, where you explore the towering fort that once protected the city from invaders. Climbing to the top of the fort’s tower, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and date palm groves. In the bustling Nizwa Souq, the scent of spices fills the air as you wander through stalls selling silver jewelry, pottery, and Omani sweets. The day ends with a journey toward Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest peak, where you stand on the edge of the Grand Canyon of Oman. The sheer cliffs and rugged beauty of the canyon are a sight to behold, and as the sun sets over the horizon, the silence and grandeur of the place leave you in awe.

Misfat Al Abriyeen
Day 6-7
Takes you further into Oman’s rural heart. In the village of Al Hamra, you walk among the mudbrick houses that have stood for centuries, getting a glimpse of traditional life. At Bait Al Safah Museum, you roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with Omani traditions, learning how to make bread and grind flour as generations before have done. The day ends in the picturesque village of Misfat Al Abriyeen, a hidden gem nestled in the mountains, where stone houses cling to the hillsides and the falaj irrigation system keeps the terraced gardens lush and green. The quiet of the village, combined with its stunning views, makes this one of the most tranquil stops on the journey.

Day 7-8
is no less remarkable. You delve deep underground at Al Hoota Cave, exploring its hidden chambers and subterranean lakes. Stalactites and stalagmites loom overhead as you walk through the vast caverns, marveling at the power of nature. Just down the road, Bahla Fort awaits, its ancient walls standing tall as a reminder of Oman’s rich history. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the oldest and most impressive forts in the country. After a day of exploration, you return to Muscat, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible journey.

On the final day, with your heart full of memories, you have one last chance to explore Muscat before heading to the airport.
