Day 1: Arrival in Vientiane, Laos Arrival at Wattay International Airport Transfer to hotel for check-in Evening: Explore the vibrant night market and enjoy local cuisine Day 2: Vientiane Sightseeing Visit Wat Sisaket, Wat Phra Kaew, and the Patuxai Victory Monument Explore the serene Buddha Park Evening: Sunset along the Mekong River Upon reaching Vientiane, we'll check into our hotel for a brief respite before embarking on a city exploration. Our itinerary for the day includes visits to some of Vientiane's most iconic landmarks. We'll start with a visit to Wat Sisaket, the city's oldest temple, renowned for its multitude of miniature Buddha statues. Next, we'll explore the historic Wat Prakao, once home to the famed Emerald Buddha statue, followed by a visit to the ancient stupa of That Luang. We'll also have the opportunity to capture photos of the majestic Patuxai Monument, often likened to the Arc de Triomphe of Vientiane. To conclude our day, we'll venture to the extraordinary Buddha Park, nestled along the banks of the Mekong River. Here, amidst a serene meadow, we'll marvel at an intriguing collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures crafted by a mysterious monk, offering profound insights into life and the universe.
