Here's what to expect and what options you'll have in this vibrant city and on our adventures: Our accommodation: We'll be staying in a comfortable and well-located house that will give you a real home away from home. The house will not only offer ample space and a relaxed atmosphere, but also amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living rooms and possibly a garden or terrace where you can relax after a day of adventures. This private accommodation allows you to discover the city in your own way and feel at home. 🏠🌟 Our mobility: During the entire trip, we will have 1-2 rental cars at our disposal, giving us the flexibility we need to explore Dublin and the surrounding regions to our heart's content. Whether for day trips in the surrounding area or for exploring sights in the city - with the rental cars we are mobile at all times and can organize our adventure according to our wishes. 🚗🗺️ Options in Dublin: Historical sights: Dublin offers numerous historical and cultural highlights. Here's what you can expect on this unforgettable day: Morning: Our adventure begins early in the morning as we make our way to the Cliffs of Moher. After a leisurely drive through the picturesque Irish countryside, we arrive at the majestic cliffs. As soon as we arrive, you will immediately be overwhelmed by the breathtaking view - the mighty cliffs stretch for 8 kilometers along the Atlantic coast and rise up to 214 meters in height. 🌄 In the morning: We start with a visit to the visitor center, where you can learn more about the geology, flora and fauna of the region. The interactive exhibition system offers fascinating insights into the history of the Cliffs of Moher and their surroundings. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to hike along the well-maintained paths along the cliffs and enjoy the spectacular views. 📚🏞️ Lunch: After our exploration tour, we stop off at a nearby restaurant where we can fortify ourselves with a traditional Irish lunch. Enjoy local specialties and let the impressive impressions of the morning sink in. 🍲☕ Afternoon: In the afternoon, we continue our journey of discovery and hike further along the cliffs. We will also visit some of the lesser-known viewpoints, which are often off the beaten track and offer stunning photo opportunities. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the unforgettable moments! 📸🌿 Evening: After a day full of adventure and nature experiences, we check into our surprise accommodation, where we can end the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. Here's what to expect on this extraordinary day: Early morning: We start early in the morning and make our way to the Gap of Dunloe. After a scenic drive, we arrive at the charming village of Kate Kearney's Cottage, which serves as a base for our exploration. Here you can enjoy the fresh morning air and get in the mood for the day ahead. 🚗🌄 Morning in the Gap of Dunloe: Our adventures begin with either a leisurely carriage ride or an exciting hike through the beautiful Gap of Dunloe. The narrow mountain valley stretches for around 11 kilometers and offers breathtaking views of steep rock faces, glistening lakes and lush green valleys. We pass the valley's five lakes and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. 🏞️🐴 Midday: After our exploration tour in the Gap of Dunloe, we take a short lunch break to recharge our batteries and take in the scenery. Here you can enjoy your picnic and prepare for the next part of our adventure. 🥪📸 Afternoon - drive to the Skellig Islands: After our lunch break, we make our way to Portmagee harbor. Here we get on a boat and cross over to the spectacular Skellig Islands. During the boat trip, you can enjoy the fresh sea air and experience the first impressive views of the islands. 🚤🌊 Afternoon on the Skellig Islands: Our first stop is Skellig Michael, the larger of the two islands. On this impressive island, we explore the historic monastery perched on the tip of the island. The climb is steep, but the breathtaking views and historical significance more than make up for the effort. 🏛️🗺️ After exploring Skellig Michael, we head to the smaller island of Little Skellig to observe the impressive bird colony and marvel at the fascinating rock formations. 🦅🐦 Evening: We return to Portmagee in the late afternoon and then make our way to our accommodation. Here you can end the day in a relaxed atmosphere, share your impressions and enjoy the company. 🌙🏡 This day full of adventure will provide you with a variety of impressive experiences and unforgettable memories.
