HELLO ADVENTURE LOVERS 👋🥰! My name is Maria and I am looking for nice TripMates to join me on a fun Island Hopping and City Trip to modern and old Singapore and Kuala Lumpur in spring of 2025! 🏝️ 🌇! I will be around in Asia in May and I want to extend my visit there with a trip to Singapore 🥰. You can join me on this cool city and nature adventure in the heart of the most modern city in the world. If we are more than 2 trip mates, all additional proceeds of this trip will be donated to World Wide Fund for Nature | WWF and the donation receipt shared with the trip mates. So make a difference for nature by simply enjoying this trip😍. My personal highlights of this trips are few: the street food in the many local hawker centres with cultural influences from China, India, Japan and other Asian countries. Also visiting the big and famous Dragon Boat Festival Race is an authentic event not to be missed and of course our stay at the landmark 5-star hotel with the famous Infinity Pool overlooking Singapore City - The Marina Bay Sands. But of course, there will be soooo much more to explore in Singapore during our 10 days and I have - as always - some cool suggestions and surprises awaiting us. *WHAT MAKES THIS TRIP SO SPECIAL?* 🌟We stay a full night and day at the amazing luxury 5***** hotel Marina Bay Sands 🌟We see Singapore and beyond that! Explore the local old villages, islands and beaches around Singapore as well. And most trips just cover Singapore City. WHY JOIN ME 👋👩🏻‍🦰 I have many years of experience as a travel specialist for China and traveled to more than 41 countries, a lot of which are located in Asia. As a person who loves to organize trips in my spare time and just likes company to share these experiences with, I joined joinmytrip in 2023 in order to find other cool like-minded people to travel with. A lot of tripmates have become good friends by now and we went on other trips together eversince. And this is what brings the biggest value to such group trips: the great friendships. Therefore, be sure to be part of a fun group😍. I speak to everyone upfront before accepting a request to join my trip. This is the best way to get to know each other and try to set up a group that fits. Besides, I have taken care of all the planning and organization and I always have some cool specials planned as well ;). I can assure you, you won't regret coming along!

ABOUT THE ACCOMODATION Our highlight is an exclusive night at the 5*-hotel Marina Bay Sands. It is full of world-class luxury and a landmark destination in the heart of Singapore. The architectural gem stands out in the skyline of Singapore and worth a day. I have planned nothing during our stay at this luxurious hotel, so we can fully enjoy the world-famous 146 meter long Infinity Pool, award-winning dining, shopping, entertainment, and more. The other 8 nights are planned in either a central good hotel or apartment of same value. It will depend on how many of us will travel to Singapore :). Breakfast is not included in the Marina Bay Sands and might be included in the other hotel, depending on availability. We will share twin bed-rooms during our entire stay in Singapore. P.S.: Please note that dates might change slightly, if the Dragon Boat Festival will be postponed to another date. But we will remain with the travel dates in late May/early June 2025 :). I hope you are now convinced that it`s worth joining 😁! It is an authentic island with a small active fishing kampong (village) and beautiful wetlands surrounding it. Originally named Pulau Batu Jubin for its granite quarries that once supplied building materials for iconic structures like the Istana (presidential office) and the Singapore-Johore Causeway, it is just a short 15-minute boat ride from the jetty. This serene island oasis is a beloved destination for both nature enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Kusu Island is the smallest of all the three and full of local myths and folklore surround the island, where the legend of the giant tortoise, a Malay man, and a Chinese man come to life. This is also one of the reasons why the island is habitat to many small and big turtoises. We can`t miss them while there!
