I'm a woman in my fifties and I love to travel solo, as this is the perfect way to fully submerge in a different culture and connect with people. As I'm learning Arabic, I traveled Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine and Saudi Arabia on my own, and more to follow. :-) I’m a cheerful person and can find humour in the darkest of situations, but I like serious conversations as well. I´m a translator, proofreader and language trainer, working online mainly. During my trips, I'm happy to volunteer and help people where needed. I believe that differences and prejudice between people of various backgrounds, cultures and religions disappear at the moment they get to know each other. It's all about connecting and gaining understanding. That's why I travel, that's why I host people in my house and that's why I would like to do tours with people and share knowledge, inspire and be inspired by others.

‘Enjoy and Explore Nature and Revive Your Spirits in the Austrian Alps’, Jul 2023If you here still hesitating about the trip, just go for it , you will definitely enjoy your trip with Renee. Renee is amazing trip leader and super friendly person , once I stepped in her house I instantly felt home. She is so welcoming and helped a lot in giving all details about the trip and the area , and even before the journey starts , Renee was constantly checking if we have any trouble in our way to her place, She always makes sure that people in trip enjoying their time there and gives us the best advices to explore the area , and she is very interesting person as well I had many conversations with her and her family when I met them.
