Tag 1-2
Day 1: We meet up and stay in Delhi--the capital of the world's largest democracy. The day begins with light ice-breaking sessions. 4 pm: Delhi Haat: A hub for shopping, dining, and cultural performances. 6 pm: India Gate is 10-minutes drive—a perfect photo spot. 8 pm: Explore South Delhi markets like Lajpat Nagar, Sarojini Nagar for street shopping, and South Ex for high-end brands. 10 pm: Dive into Delhi’s nightlife at Khan Market. Day 2: Start early to capture sun-lit photos near Rashtrapati Bhavan along Rajpath. Visit Old Delhi’s cultural gems: Jama Masjid, Purana Qila, and more. Explore Qutub Minar—World's tallest brick minaret-a UNESCO Site—and its complex, including the 4th-century Ashoka Pillar. 10 am: Return to the hotel for a very good breakfast. 12 Noon (check-out): On the way to Jaipur, we visit the Red Fort--a Unesco site: 1PM Chandni Chowk (Lunch): the food havens of the capital. 2 pm: Visit the Jantar Mantar, one of the five astronomical observatories. 3 PM: Fun journey to Jaipur in Rajasthan: 5 hours travel. Reach Jaipur and rest in a royal palace.

Tag 2-5
Night 2 - Welcome to Jaipur's royal palace, a heritage hotel, to live as the royals did. Jaipur’s charm lies in its palaces, gardens, and forts built by mighty rulers. Day 3: Start at Central Park for a jog or birdwatching. Opt for a hot air balloon ride over Amber Fort and Jal Mahal. A government-certified tour guide can be hired. Visit City Palace and its museums that showcase royal belongings and weapons. Hawa Mahal-the palace of wind-A UNESCO Site: near Johari Bazaar. Jal Mahal, 5 km from Hawa Mahal, floats at the centre of the Man Sagar Lake. Day 4: Tour Nahargarh and Jaigarh Forts, 5.4 km apart, known for housing the world’s largest cannon. Amber Fort-- A UNESCO Site: enjoy a Rajasthani meal; puppet show; shop for handicrafts; enjoy the spectacular son-et-lumiere (light & sound show); maharaja-style elephant ride. Feeling tired? Take a good massage! Are you not already feeling like the kings and the queens of the world. I am! Day 5: Morning we start for Agra!

Day 5: After breakfast, we take a 4-hour fun drive to reach Agra! Taj Mahal--One of the 7 wonders of the world--A UNESCO Site (Friday closed): The Taj Mahal is known as a monument of love and a grieving emperor's ode to his beloved deceased queen. Agra fort--A UNESCO Site : 2.5 kilometers (1.6 mi) from the Taj Mahal. The fort can be described as a walled city. Enjoy the sites, local food, rest!

Mathura Vrindavan

Day 6: Visit Vrindavan: Day 6 to 8 Holi festival (Festival of colours) Holi celebration: Holi is the festival of colours, love, and spring. Additionally, the day signifies the triumph of good over evil. The night before Holi, bonfires are lit in a ceremony known as Holika Dahan. People gather near fires, sing and dance. The next day, Holi, play with colours, smear colours on everyone, there are no strangers on Holi. Dance, play with colours, and enjoy mouthwatering special dishes. Total madness! A lifetime experience! In Mathura and Vrindavan, the festival is celebrated in different forms like Lathmar Holi in Barsana and Nandgaon, where sticks are used to create playful beats, to which young men and women dance; Flower Holi in Gulaal Kund near the Govardhan Hill, during which Ras Leela is performed, and Holi is played with colourful flowers. Experience spirituality like never before. Vrindavan is a historical city in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is located in the Braj Bhoomi region and holds religious importance in Hinduism, as Krishna spent most of his childhood days in this city. Vrindavan has about 5,500 temples dedicated to the worship of Krishna and his divine consort Radha, the likes of which include Banke Bihari, ISKCON, Gopeshwar Mahadev, Shahji, and Govinddeo among others. We intend to stay in an Ashram! Vrindavan is not merely for sightseeing, rather, to experience bhakti--spiritual madness of devotion for one's beloved. Day 9: You can book a cab and easily return via Delhi. ➡️ We met as TripMates, became friends on the way, and travelled as one family. Have a safe journey back home. Just let me know. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 9-11: We take a ride for inner peace to Rishikesh - The yoga capital of the world nestled in the Himalayan foothills, a hub for sages, yoga practitioners, and pilgrims. It offers activities like rafting, bungee jumping, and canoeing. Triveni Ghat: Confluence of three sacred rivers, known for its evening ‘Maha arti’ with floating lamps. Parmarth Niketan Ashram is a famous venue of Ganga arti. Lakshman Jhula: A 450 ft suspension bridge. | Ram Jhula: A 750 ft bridge. Rajaji National Park: Home to diverse fauna and 400 bird species. Neer Garh Waterfall: A two-tiered waterfall with bathing pools, accessible via a scenic hike. Kaudiyala: a scenic town known for whitewater rafting, 40 km from Rishikesh. We intend to stay in a beautiful ashram (hermitage). Meditate, yoga, peace, spirituality: Realise, I am one with the universe, and the universe is one with me!
