Trekking adventure in Nepal awaits you where you can be pleased by tranquil and cultural environment. Panch Pokhari (i.e. Five Holy Ponds) refers to the five sacred ponds situated at the base of Jugal mountain range in Himalayas. The trail to these lakes is adventurous and offers fantastic mountain panoramas. The lake lies at an altitude of 4,130 meters above sea level and has significant cultural and ecological values.

Hi, fellow TripMates! This is me Krishna P from Kathmandu and would like to guide you people in one of the adventurous trekking route of Nepal. Mountains have been fascinating me since my childhood. Growing up in the foothills of the Himalayas, I have travelled & explored more than 500 miles of different trekking/hiking trails throughout Nepal on foot. I too have a decade long experience in leading, managing & arranging trekking/hiking and other leisure activities here in Nepal.

Our accommodations and stay shall be on mountain lodges and tea houses on a share basis or on private. 3 courses of meal will be provided on a daily basis during the trek. Bhotang

Tag 1-2

Day 1 We shall drive through a early local vehicle from Kathmandu and shall reach Bhotang village after 5-6 hours mid hill journey. Bhotang is a village in Sindhupalchok District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. Bhotang lies in Panchpokhari Rural Municipality and is about 65 kilometers from capital. Chhimti is the farthest village and takes about 30 minutes to reach on foot. The elevation of Chimmti village lies at an altitude of 1900 meters.

Tuppi Danda टुपि डाँडा

Tag 2-3

Day 2 Well after 5-hours mid hill journey on previous day, this is our second day and the trek starts from Chimmti village. Today, we shall hike around 6-7 hours uphill and reach Tuppi Danda and overnight in a local homestay. Our trek will start after morning breakfast, we ascend up to the high hills through stone steep trails with passing river and streams. We shall gain an altitude of 2700 meters at Tuppi Danda starting the trek from 1900 meters.

Panch Pokhari

Tag 3-4

The stretch between Tuppi Danda(2700 mtrs) and Nasimpati(3700 meters) is long so we will have a lunch at Chokar Dada(3200 mtrs). After a steep uphill we shall reach Nasimpati for quick tea with light snacks. Then we move forward for our ultimate goal Lake Panch Pokhari(4130 meters) after 8-9 hrs of long day hike. The trails are mostly uphill, but the highlands and the rocky terrain make it an absolutely beautiful hike. We overnight at a hotel after reaching the lake and prepare for next day early morning scenic view.

Chhimti छिम्ती

Tag 4-5

After a overnight stay at Panch Pokhari lake we shall wake up ealry have a breakfast and move for the sunrise viewpoint. We will be in the base of Jugal Himal range in the scared and pristine places under foothills of Himalayas. After memories left behind we slowly descend after lunch at Panch Pokari lakeside to Chimmti village. It shall takes us about 6-7 hours to descend back.

Kathmandu

Tag 5-6

The trek has ended and shall wake up early at Chimmti and take a 5-6 hours mid hill highway to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu we shall have a farewell dinner and prepare for final departure to your home.
