Relaxing in a mineral-rich thermal spa

In this short trip, we will be visiting two cities in Germany: Heidelberg & Mannheim Beforing partying, we will get to know each other during our afternoon walk in Heidelberg. The lively old town (Altstadt) is the city’s historic heart, with cobblestone streets, centuries-old buildings, and bustling market squares overlooked by the hilltop Heidelberg Castle and gardens. After having dinner in Heidelberg, we will go to Time Warp Festival - established in 1994 as one of the biggest techno spectacles in the world. The German edition of the festival is a hot-spot for thousands of party people every year. Since 2000, Mannheim has been the festival's home base. After dancing the whole night, the next day we will just chill at Miramar Spa (near Mannheim). You can relax in the warm, mineral-rich thermal brine water and enjoy the unique panoramic view of the beautiful Waidsee.

About me! Before moving to Frankfurt, I had been living in Mannheim & Heidelberg for 7 years in total, so I know these areas pretty well. I love techno music and going to festival, looking forward to having some like-minded and open-minded people to join my trip.

Details about the accommodation: We will staying in a 3-star (or above) hotel with shared room and twin bed, located in the area of Mannheim, so we can go to the festival, spa and Heidelberg easily by public transport. Breakfast is not included in the stay, but there are plenty of bakeries and cafes nearby which we can decide together where we eat :) If you have any questions about the trip you can let me know in the Q&A section and I will come back to you as soon as possible!

Tag 1

After check-in at the hotel, we will head to Heidelberg in the afternoon. Heidelberg is a popular tourist destination due to its romantic cityscape, including Heidelberg Castle, the Philosophers' Walk, and the Baroque old town. We will have dinner in the old town before partying at Time Warp Festival :)

Miramar

Tag 1-2

On Sunday, we will relax at Miramar Spa, which is reachable by tram from Mannheim. The thermal spa area has two indoor pools, the amethyst and the rose quartz basins, you will enjoy a healthy bath with pleasantly warm temperatures.
