Since 5th century, the people maximized the opportunity during last days before the beginning of the Lent to amuse themselves and savor the pleasures and joy of life. This is your chance to visit the most romantic city in the world at a time when it becomes the most amazingly mystic place you will ever see. NB: This trip has two experiences included, please check the itinerary and inclusions. If tripmate doesn't want any of the experiences I might deduct them from the final price.

Depending on the number of tripmates accommodation will be based either in hotels, guesthouses of excellent to fabulous quality and standard. Rooms will be shared or private upon request (for a small addition in the price). Bologna

Tag 1-4

Bologna is the heart of northern Italy, from where we will be easily reaching the most famous Florence and Venice, which will be the highlight of this trip. We are expected to meet no longer than 11 am at the accommodation and immediately head to the the Piazza Maggiore situated in the very center. A sprawling plaza lined with arched colonnades, cafes and medieval and Renaissance structures such as City Hall, the Fountain of Neptune and the Basilica di San Petronio, we will be able to see the two medieval towers, known as the Two Towers, leaning Asinelli and Garisenda and climb Asinelli with breathtaking views of Bologna from above. Bologna is also often referred to as the gastronomic capital of Italy. It is famous for its rich dishes, including ragù alla bolognese (Bolognese sauce), tortellini, and lasagna. The city is also known for its traditional food markets. Where else can we taste these dishes?!

Venice

Tag 4

Early morning, and we depart for the magical Venice. The trip lasts 1h 30 mins where we pass by main cities such as Ferrara, Padova. And here we are! The highlight of this trip! The streets, the canals, the characters, the costumes, the masks, the feathers, the colors and everything Venice has to offer during these days. The theme of Carnevale di Venezia 2025 is Il tempo di Casanova, real magic back in times. We'll go for Carnival watch, Treasure Hunt activity, as well as a gondola ride, a live classical music etc, all these are optional. While included in the final price is the Dress Up experience which will leave you memorable moments. In the evening we are back to Bologna.

Florence

Tag 4

Only 40 minutes from Bologna, Florence is the cradle of art and history. A must for anyone who is visiting Italy. Piazza Duomo, Uffizzi Gallery, Dei Medici, Piazza Michelangelo, Ponte Vecchio... so many things to see and do in Florence. But the highlight will be a Vespa Tour, a typical, Italian experience. Late in the evening we are back to our accommodation in Bologna. Last Day: We have breakfast, do check out and finally we leave with our luggage full of unforgettable memories. *For tripmates who plan to travel back to their countries from Florence I might also arrange accommodation there for the last night. I need to be notified before. *For tripmates who plan to extend their stay I can also arrange accommodation accordingly. I am so much looking forward to this trip!
