South Korea Photography Tour

We will have a light start today. Depending on our flight time, we will visit one of the classic villages today. We will wander around old houses and temples and take photos. After the village visit, we will visit Changdeokgung Palace, one of the 5 grand palaces. The palace's embroidery, walls and vibrant colors are too colorful for photography. Towards the evening, we will see and photograph Seoul on a boat trip. Afterwards, we will go to our hotel where we will have dinner and accommodation.

After our breakfast, today, after a 3-hour journey to Jeonju, we will visit and photograph a village with 800 traditional village houses. From time to time, we will encounter people wearing traditional clothes here. We will be in a very enjoyable photography journey. Today we will visit a second village. There are murals on almost all the walls in this village. In the evening, we will have dinner at a restaurant of our choice from Korean cuisine and go to our hotel for accommodation.

Today, after breakfast, we will take a 4-hour trip to Busan. At the end of the journey, we will reach the bamboo forest, walk here and take photos. In the first half of the day, we will have a peaceful time and be among the greenery. Afterwards, the greenery will continue and we will be in the tea gardens in the evening and photograph these beautiful terraced gardens. We will end the day like this and have our dinner together. Afterwards, we will stay at our hotel and rest for the next day.

After our breakfast, we will take a walk on the very lively streets today. We will visit an Asian market area with many shops where people shop. Here are both photos; We will also have the opportunity to shop. In the second half of the day, we will go to the temple where we will have a very different experience and spend a night with the monks. During this time, we will meditate with the monks, attend trainings and eat together. We will spend time with the monks in the garden of the temple and have the opportunity to photograph them a lot. In the evening, we will first attend the ceremony performed with musical instruments called dharma. When the evening is over, we will all sleep together on mat beds in the simple accommodation conditions of the temple. At the end of the day, you will have had one of the rare experiences that will leave a mark on your life.

Our work at the temple will continue in the morning. We will wake up early with the monks and have our breakfast. Afterwards, we will have a group meditation practice, which may be a first for many of us. After meditation, it will be time to leave the temple and return to city life. We will return to the streets where there is plenty of activity. Today we will visit two different markets. Shopping and shopping here; We also have the opportunity to take photos. We will photograph classic Asian crowded streets, street vendors, street food and of course people. In the afternoon, we will visit a colorful settlement and end the day with the photos we took there. After our dinner, we will retire to our hotel to rest.

After our breakfast, our journey will take 2 hours today and we will go to Gyeongju. We will visit a very beautiful village again. We will see a village where we will see Korean architecture, walk on its clean streets and take photos. Afterwards, we will visit Seoguram Grotto Temple, which is on the UNESCO world heritage list. The colorful structure and giant statues of the temple will impress us all. In the evening, we will go to Woljeonggyo Bridge to photograph its illuminated state. We will take photos on and around the bridge for a while and leave after sunset. After having our dinner together, we will go to our hotel to listen.

After our breakfast, we will start our journey back to Seoul with a 4-hour journey. Today we will visit another traditional village. After this last village visit, we will return to the very lively streets. This time we will visit the market in Seoul. In Insadong, there will be cafes decorated with traditional handmade paper (hanji), pottery and paintings on the walls, and places to take photos. After visiting this traditional bazaar, we will end our trip by visiting a street with more luxurious stores. We will have dinner together and retire to our hotel to rest.

After our breakfast, we will transfer to the airport to return home. We will have a very colorful, somewhat traditional and very privileged trip to Korea with temple accommodation. We hope to see you next time again with us.
