These are snowshoe days for connoisseurs who want to experience nature away from the hustle and bustle. We spend the night in the private hut on the "Tschärmilonga" alp, we are self-catering and everyone helps out a little. Reini has known this terrain since his earliest childhood and will guide you safely through forests, across open terrain and wonderful vantage points with views over the Valais 4000 metre peaks. Your physical well-being is taken care of, we cook on the wood-burning stove with local produce. A fine glass of wine is a must. All-inclusive experience nature ● discover ● enjoy Equipment / material list: As soon as you have registered, you will receive a detailed list of the equipment you need from your tour guide. Please bear in mind that you are travelling in the mountains in winter. Accordingly, you will need warm and weatherproof clothing and good, waterproof hiking boots. Don't you have snowshoes? No problem, your guide will bring snowshoes for you. The same goes for safety equipment. This is included in the price.

About me! I'm Reini - your mountain leader and guide throughout the entire trip. I take care about safety, logistics and the cooking in the beautiful alpine cabin. I've been travelling in the mountains for over 35 years and organise mountain tours throughout the year. As symply.hiking, I guide my guests through the Alps all the way to Nepal. In winter with snowshoe tours and in summer with hikes. From easy to challenging - from short to long hikes - everything has a place in my programme. Thoughts on the trail - simply.enjoyable As a hiking guide, I don't just accompany my guests on enjoyable trails. I want to awaken the senses, show the connections between nature and the seasons and the mountains as a cultural area. To facilitate surprising encounters - with landscapes, plants and animals, with other people and with yourself. To create space in a hectic time for quiet moments, lasting impressions, good conversation and hearty hospitality.

Alpine hut - Alp Tschärmilonga - simply.exclusive High above Leukerbad and the mountain village of Albinen lies the Tschärmilonga alp at 1926 metres above sea level in the Wallis Alps near Zermatt and the famous Matterhorn. From the sunny mountain terrace, the view extends over the entire Rhone Valley as far as Mont Blanc. This is where I like to welcome and entertain guests in my charming and well-equipped mountain hut. The house offers plenty of space for up to 6 people and room for cooking, eating, drinking and good conversation. And for hiking. Alp Tschärmilonga is the starting point for many tours in both summer and winter. Tag 1

The train station of Leuk in the canton of Wallis is our meeting-point. From here we will move with Reini's simply.bus and all our equipment to the mountain village of Guttet.

Guttet

Tag 1

With the simply.bus to this mountain village. Our snowshoe hike will start here. We will hike from here to the Alp Tschärmilonga. Reini introduces you if necessary in the snowshoe equipment, the snowshoe hiking and has all necessary safety tips. We will hike in maximum 2 hours with our gear on the back through forests and open terrain up to an altitude of about 2000 meters above sea level...

Tag 1-3

This is our base camp on about 2000 meters above sea level. Here is the hut where we sleep and eat and chill. From here will endeavour more snowshoe adventures. Enjoy true luxury with us in the simplicity of the self-catering hut at 2000 metres above the fog. Guttet

Tag 3

On our last day we will go back to Guttet. But before that, we do another snowshoe hike enjoy nature and the fantastic view over the rhone valley. In the mid-afternoon we will arrive in Guttet, from where we startet two days ago.

Leuk

Tag 3

The last stage is to move from Guttet with the simply.bus down the valley to the train station of Leuk. We do not want to miss a farewell drink before you hit the train timely. This was our thre day snowshoe experience in paradise...
