Boat ride down the Danube

Experience beautiful European culture

Bratislava and Vienna are two of the closest capital cities in the world with only 34 miles (55 kilometers) separating them - so it makes sense that if you visit one, then why not visit the other? In this short trip, we will explore both cities and hopefully make some new friends too! This is a casual trip with no main itinerary. The trip price just includes accommodation and transport between the two cities - which will be an evening cruise down the Danube River!

My name is Josh and I am from Hampshire in the UK. I have been to Vienna before and absolutely loved it! I tell people it's one of the best cities I've visited. I haven't been to Bratislava. However, I have been fascinated by Slovakia since doing a project about it in school and now I finally have the chance to go!

We will stay at an AirBnB in both Bratislava and Vienna. They will have enough beds for everyone, however will require sharing rooms. They'll both have all the facilities necessary to make our stays comfortable. If there are any specific amenities you need then let me know and we will see if we can arrange them.

Bratislava

Tag 1-2

Day of arrival! We will all meet at our accommodation in Bratislava. The first day is an arrival day where we will get to know each other and perhaps go on a walk around the city. We will spend one night in Bratislava and wake up early to explore all its famous landmarks such as Bratislava Castle. Then we will take a river boat cruise down the Danube to get to Vienna.

Vienna

Tag 2-3

Once we arrive in Vienna, we will find our accommodation. Depending on how we are feeling, we can stay in for the night or go exploring. The next day will be the proper day of exploration. There are so many sights and things to do in Vienna. We can either walk around the city or we can do a fun experience such as chocolate-making or wine-tasting. Maybe we'll have time to do both!

Vienna

Tag 3-4

The trip will end in Vienna on Day 4. In the morning, there will be enough time to go shopping and buy souvenirs in Vienna. I will head back to Bratislava in the afternoon to catch my plane from Bratislava Airport in the evening.
