About Me! Hey there! I'm Mario, I've been living in Cabo Verde for over 20 years now, and I consider myself an expert guide both on land and at sea, especially in the Barlavento islands. Eight years ago, I rescued a little monkey, and since then, he's been my faithful companion on trekking adventures across Santo Antão, helping me explore all the endemic greenery of the island. Adventures are my passion, and I'm deeply fascinated by the rich culture and traditional Cabo Verdean life. Fluent in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Kriolo, I'm here to ensure you have an unforgettable experience discovering the hidden gems of this beautiful archipelago. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of the cosmopolitan city of Mindelo as we depart from its scenic marina for our journey to Santo Antão by ferry. São Vicente, known for its lively culture, is the second most populous city in Cape Verde, brimming with energy and authenticity. Explore authentic gems like Bahia das Gatas, a hidden beach, and natural swimming pools. Convenient airport services ensure smooth transitions throughout our adventure.

Porto Novo

Upon arrival in Santo Antão by ferry, our journey continues with a departure by private car, offering three exciting options: Montrigo, Pico da Cruz, or Punta do Sol. Embark on a trekking adventure where we have the flexibility to discover new trails or follow panoramic routes. Prepare to immerse ourselves in lush green landscapes with fresh water streams at every turn.

Tag 2-3

Get ready for an exciting day of trekking and hiking with our trusty guide Kueto, who will lead us to discover local plants, fruits, and even sugar cane. Along the way, we'll be treated to stunning views of the landscape and encounter unique local products. Our first option, Montrigo, offers a diverse experience starting with a visit to the sea beach followed by a delicious lunch at a typical restaurant serving fresh fish. Afterward, we'll embark on a scenic two-hour walk from Tarrafal de Montrigo to Montrigo, exploring beaches and trekking routes. For those seeking more adventure, there's also the option to visit Altamira.

Tag 3-4

Prepare yourselves for a day of island exploration with two exciting options to choose from. Our first option takes us to Sinagoga, where we'll spend part of the day relaxing in natural swimming pools and indulging in a rejuvenating massage. Afterward, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a typical restaurant. Alternatively, our second option leads us to Pico da Cruz, offering breathtaking views of the caldera and an opportunity to collect fruits and explore small plants along the trekking route to Cova Covadina. We'll then continue our trek to Ribeira de Paul, guided by our friendly pet guide Kqueto, and conclude the day with a delightful dinner at Lello restaurant.

Return to the vibrant city in the afternoon via ferry from Porto Novo, where you'll immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere filled with culture and music. Enjoy the pulsating nightlife with dinner accompanied by live music. Embark on a tour of the island by car, exploring highlights such as Sao Pedro, Calhau, and a leisurely walk through Mato Ingles. We'll ensure smooth organization for your departure, making sure your experience on the island ends on a high note.
