Discover the Hidden Gems: Lithuania Road Trip Adventure

Welcome on board :) This is the first day when we will meet. We will attend a walking tour starting at 15.30 to get a better sight of the city. This will include all the old town and will be enough for us to see every important place. What we will be seeing, summary; - Cathedral square and its surroundings – the area around which the first inhabitants of Vilnius settled - Vilnius University that is the oldest and the biggest in Lithuania - The presidential palace, the gleaming, white ceremonial building where the President works today - The Town Hall and its surroundings - The Republic of Užupis that is the “separate country” close to the Old Town - St Anne’s and Bernardine churches, the gothic corner of Vilnius So make sure you arrive at our meeting point (Airbnb) before midday, :) the Sooner the better. The walking tour will take approx. 2.5 hours. After that, we can have dinner in a traditional restaurant (I have recommendations) try local food, and get to know each other :) We will spend the night here. We will have free time in the city after that.

On our way to Kaunas this day, we will stop by this beautiful and interesting city, very close to Vilnius (30 mins) and has this beautiful castle in it. We will spend the early day here, taking photos, buying souvenirs, maybe. And in the afternoon, we will be back on our way to Kaunas.😍

We will start the next morning early from Vilnius. We will drive to Kaunas after visiting Trakai, which will take around 1 hour. We will attend a walking tour in Kaunas city, which is the second-biggest city in Lithuania. We will see the highlights of the city in 2-2.5 hours with a walking tour. Then have a meal break. We will stay the night in this city and have some free time to explore and shopping maybe 😍

It will take 2.5 hours to drive from Kaunas. After we arrive in the city, I plan to organize a self-guided walking tour together. This city is not very big, but this is the only coastal city in Lithuania and has a lot of hot spots worth seeing. We can have meals and get the best of Lithuanian cuisine together. We can watch the sunset at one of the beaches of the city and sunbath :) We stay here overnight.

We will drive back from Klaipeda to here in the first half of the day. We will see the Hill of Crosses here, which is a very interesting spot. We will spend 2–3 hours seeing the city and the Hill of Crosses, but we will not stay here. We will probably have a lunch break here.

Then we will drive here for 1.5 hours. We will spend 1 hour here to see the city and have a meal if necessary, but we will not stay here. We will have some stops to take pictures, eat some snacks and have some fresh air. Maybe by walking in the city center, we can decide spontaneously.

We will be here before the concert and at least at 5 pm, so we have enough time to get ready and do our things. We will then attend the concert and maybe have dinner before. Depends on our group. We will also have some free time. After the concert, we will stay here overnight and that will be our last night in Lithuania :) We will go back to our homes after this night :)
