About me: Hello, I'm Ellis, a 35-year-old passionate traveler with a deep love for Bali and Southeast Asia in general. Having spent six months living on the island, I've developed a good understanding and appreciation for its rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and hidden gems. This trip is designed to share my love for Bali with others and to provide an experience that goes beyond the typical tourist path, while you can learn more about the culture and local life. Accomodation: To ensure a comfortable and memorable stay, I have selected a variety of accommodations that reflect the charm and diversity of Bali. While the trip is still in a early planning phase, for now I can tell you that bedrooms will be shared with 1 or 2 other travelers (twin or double bed / depending on availability - private rooms come with a surcharge: please let me know if you need/want to sleep alone!). All rooms will have air-conditioning and a private bathroom. We will stay in a villa with pool, eco lodge and hotel/ bed & breakfast. As this will be a roundtrip, please be prepared to change accomodation approx. every 2 - 4 nights! It's up to you if you wish to bring either a suitcase or only a backpack - both are ok. Tag 1-3
May 31st: - Arrive at Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport and transfer to Ubud. - Check into villa or hotel in Ubud (after 3 pm) - Relax and enjoy the surroundings, get to know the group. June 1st: - Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the villa or at a local café. Afterwards visit the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary to see playful monkeys and explore the lush greenery. - Lunch break - Afternoon: explore the Ubud Market for local crafts and souvenirs. 5 pm: Experience a Sound Healing Session at the Pyramids of Chi, a unique wellness experience focused on relaxation and spiritual healing. - Evening: Welcome dinner at Taman Dedari Restaurant with views of rice fields and traditional Balinese dishes.

Tag 3
June 2nd: - Morning: Depart for a day trip to Munduk. Visit Leke Leke Waterfall and enjoy breakfast or lunch (brunch) at "Lost Café" with homemade food and local grown strawberry specialities. - Afternoon: Visit Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and the Banyumala Waterfall. - Late afternoon/ Evening: Return to Ubud

Tag 3-6
June 3rd: - Morning: Walking tour through Ubud where you learn more about the history and sights of this town. - Afternoon: participate in a Canang Sari Workshop to learn about Balinese offerings. Afterwards optional activities: Option 1: Silver Jewelery making class where you will learn the process and create your own piece of Jewelery designed by yourself with the help of the locals. (~30€ , not included) Option 2: Free time to either chill at the villa or stroll through the center of Ubud (or any other activity of your choice) - Evening: Night out with dinner and live music. (Optional)

Tag 6
June 4th: - Morning: Early departure / early breakfast or breakfast on the way to Sidemen. Visit Tukad Cepung Waterfall and participate in a rice field trekking (with guide) through Sidemen village where you'll learn more about local life and rice farming. - Late lunch - Afternoon: Visit Tirta Gangga water palace - Evening: Sunset at Lahangan sweet viewpoint, afterwards dinner and return to Ubud

Sebatu
Tag 6-8
June 5th: - Morning: Check out of Ubud accommodation after breakfast - Noon: Visit UNESCO Tegallalang Rice Terraces for stunning views and a Bali Swing experience (~7 €, not included), enjoy a Coffee Tasting at Alas Harum, learning about the Luwak coffee process and have lunch. If time allows we can spend some time at Cretya Day Club as well. (Entry included) - Evening: Check into Pondok Sebatu Eco Lodge and have dinner at the lodge, surrounded by ricefields and spectacular views. June 6th: - Morning: Enjoy a Village Walking Tour in Sebatu with a guide, learn more about Balinese homes temples and village life. Breakfast at the lodge afterwards. - Late Morning: Visit Sebatu Holy Water Spring (Temple) for a spiritual cleansing experience with a guide who will guide us through the process. - (Late) Lunch: Eat at a local restaurant. - Afternoon: Relax or enjoy spa treatments at the Eco Lodge / Afternoon tea (included). - Evening: Dinner at the lodge.

Uluwatu
Tag 8-11
June 7th: - Morning: Breakfast and check out from Sebatu Eco Lodge, depart for Uluwatu. - Lunchbreak -Visit GWK cultural park and the Garuda-Wisnu-Kencana-Statue - Evening: Check in, relax either at the villa or at Bingin beach. Dinner at a local restaurant near the hotel/ order in. June 8th: - Morning: Breakfast in the villa or at local café - Day trip to Bingin Beach and Padang Padang Beach, enjoy swimming and sunbathing. Optional surf class and lunch at the beach. - Late afternoon/ evening: Visit Uluwatu Temple at approx. 4:30 / 5 pm and watch the Kecak Dance Performance (Fire show) at 6 pm (duration ~ 1 hour). Return to accomodation, evening at leisure (we can choose to have dinner somewhere nearby or on the way back). June 9th: - Spend a relaxing day at Palmilla Beach Club at beautiful Melasti Beach. (There is no entrance fee, but a minimum spend based on seating category (€30 ~ €50 per couple) which applies toward food and beverage purchases. (Optional bonfire at Sunday's beach club nearby after 6 pm - not included)

Tag 11-13
June 10th: - Morning: Check out from Uluwatu - take the boat to Canggu at 10 am (early check in if available, otherwise we'll be stopping for coffee break/ brunch in Canggu) - Afternoon: Optional surf lesson at Canggu Beach. (Duration: ~ 2 hours/ ~30€) or enjoy leisure time. - Evening: Watch the sunset at Canggu Beach and have dinner at a beachside restaurant June 11th: - Morning: Breakfast at one of Canggu's trendy cafés. Visit Batu Bolong street & "Love Anchor Market" for shopping and lunch. - Afternoon: Free time for personal exploration/ relaxation or use the time to pack. - Farewell dinner and an optional party to celebrate the journey together.
