Are you looking to explore North Italy in her best season ? This trip is for you. I have been to Italy many times in the past, and I always look forward to visiting again. In this trip we will see some of my favorite cities in North Italy, Milan - Lake Como - Verona. This trip is ideal for people who want to explore the gems of a country without organizing it by themself. Hi, my name is Eleni, I am 24 years old, and I am from Greece. I love Italian culture and my goal is to explore Italy from the north to the south and from the west to the east! I love traveling in a slow rhythm and making the best of each destination. On my trips I always look for the best reading coffee spots (my two addictions combined) in the mornings and at night after the popular sightseeing, looking forward to a local bar with the best drinks. On this trip, we will: go sightseeing, eat like locals, have free time for extra activities, shopping or me time and optional we can make a mini book club (I am new to booktok and acotar fun). We will meet up in Milan where we will live in the same apartment in Navigli for the whole duration of the trip, from there we will do two-day trips. After the arrival of everyone, I will organize a welcome game night to break the ice. *It is possible to pay by card everywhere in Italy, but I suggest having some changes for public transportation tickets. **If you need more information, you can ask in the Q&A section! Milan

Tag 1-3

The first evening after the arrival of all Trip Mates, we will have dinner near the Hostel and then we will play games (depending on everyone's mood/tiredness). The next morning we visit famous Milan attractions such as the Duomo, the shopping center and Milan's Scala. We will drink coffee in one of the nicest Starbucks and in the evening we visit the Navigli area where we will walk and visit a bar.

Lake Como

Tag 3

On our first day trip we will visit Lake Como. We will take the train to Varenna where we will have a tour in Villa Monastero and walk in Varenna. After that we will hop on the train again to a further south area of the lake, Como from which Lake Como was renamed. There we will walk around the picturesque narrow streets.

Verona

Tag 3-4

On our second day trip, we will visit Verona, known from Shakspear's most tragic novel of classic books Romeo and Julieta. We will go up to the hill with the funicular to the best point of view of Verona and visit the castle, San Pietro. After that, we will go to the famous balcony of Julieta. We will eat fresh pasta and go around the magical narrows. At the end of our experience, we will eat ice cream in my favorite gelateria in northern Italy.

Milan

Tag 4-6

On our last full day, we will visit Castello Sforzesco, and Arco della Pace, and have a nice picnic at the park. In the afternoon we will see the modern side of Milan, the Bosco Verticale, and Piazza Gae Aulenti. We will finish our trip with a goodbye dinner, drinks, and games.
