Our thrilling tour takes you through the breathtaking Fulufjäll National Park and Fedungfjäll Reserve, home to Sweden’s highest waterfall and a sanctuary for wolves, bears, lynx, elk, and reindeer. Spend your days gliding through serene mountain valleys and evenings in cozy wilderness huts, savoring traditional Swedish meals by the fire. ABOUT ACCOMMODATION: Stockholm (2 nights) - 2-bed or 4-bed rooms, shared bathroom. Wilderness Lodge (2 nights) - traditional Swedish house. Mountain Hut (1 night) – No electricity or running water. Alternatively, we can stay in an Indian tent heated by an oven. To enjoy the cozy warmth of the stove, we’ll need to chop wood first. If you’re up for it, so am I!

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN STOCKHOLM 🇸🇪 Welcome to Sweden, the largest country in the Nordic Region! Get ready for an exciting adventure: a multi-day dog sledding tour through the breathtaking Lapland wilderness! 🐕❄️ First things first, let’s drop our bags at the hotel and freshen up. After that, it’s time to explore Stockholm! This city is full of mysteries and legends waiting to be discovered. We can check out some recommended sights or simply stroll through the main streets to soak in the city’s unique vibe. 🏙️✨ Later, we’ll pick up our rental car. After a delicious hot dinner, we’ll head back to the hotel for a good night’s rest. We’ll be hitting the road early tomorrow, so let’s recharge for the adventure ahead! 🚗🍽️💤

DAY 2: STOCKHOLM TO WILDERNESS LODGE 🚗🌲 Distance: 425 km Drive Time: 5-6 hours Rise and shine! After a hearty breakfast, we begin our road trip to the North. 🌅🍳 This is a long drive, so we will break it up with stops in charming cities along the way for lunch and quick sightseeing. Our goal today is to reach our Wilderness Lodge before sunset. 🌞 Not only will a cozy welcome dinner by the open fire be waiting for us, but we’ll also get the chance to meet and get familiar with our sled dogs! 🐕🔥

Tag 2-3

Each of us will drive our own team of 3-4 dogs, so we’ll go through instructions and materials from the organizers to ensure we’re prepared. 🐕 Alaskan Malamutes and Greenland dogs are much larger and more powerful than the newfangled sled dogs that are mostly used for tourist touring today. They have a special charisma with a lot of personality and philanthropy. And here’s a special treat: Later in the evening, you can choose where to spend the night! Will it be in the rustic hut with beds directly by the fire, or in the Swedish log cabin with its wood-burning stove and candlelight ambiance? The choice is yours! 🌟🏡 Good night! 😊

DAY 3: INTO THE WILDERNESS 🏞️❄️ Route: Fulufjäll National Park and Fedungfjäll Reserve Big day ahead! In the morning, we embark on our adventure with the sled dog teams, heading deep into the wilderness. We’ll spend the night in a cozy wilderness hut, far away from any civilization. Yahoo! 🐾🏕 Our sled dog tour takes us through the southernmost mountain region of Sweden, exploring the stunning Fulufjäll National Park and the Fedungfjäll Reserve. Here, you’ll find Sweden’s highest waterfall and a vast, untouched nature reserve home to wolves, bears, lynx, elk, and reindeer. 🌲🐺🐻🦌 Enjoy the beauty and the thrill of nature! Though the wilderness sounds both fascinating and a bit scary, our route and accommodation can be adjusted according to the group’s preferences. We can journey through wild mountain valleys, searching for traces of elks and wolves, and approach various wilderness huts. Or, after today's sled dog adventure is over, we can hike to the treeless Fjäll region for a unique view of the Swedish and Norwegian mountains. 🏔️👣 Of course, we’ll need to consider the weather when deciding on the course of our tour. So, bundle up and get ready for an unforgettable day in the wild! 🌬️☁️

DAY 4: RETURN TO THE WILDERNESS LODGE 🌌🔥 Route: Fulufjäll National Park and Fedungfjäll Reserve Today, we will stroll through the tranquility of the Scandinavian winter landscape with our sled dog teams, arriving back at our camp in the evening. 🛷❄️ We’ll conclude our adventurous day around the campfire with some delicious Swedish food. 🍲🔥 To complete our wild experience, let’s warm up in the rustic wood-heated wilderness sauna. The Nordic style has a unique charm that you won’t want to miss! 🧖‍♂️🧖‍♀️ 😊 We’re staying in such a beautiful place that, if we’re lucky, we might see the northern lights at night or even spot some reindeer! 🌌🦌 Enjoy your evening and the magical surroundings. DAY 5: RETURN TO STOCKHOLM 🚗🌟 Wilderness Lodge - Hudiksvall - Gävle - Uppsala - Stockholm Distance: 564 km Drive Time: 6-7 hours This morning, after a hearty Swedish breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to our sled dogs and begin our journey back to civilization. Although we’ll need time to reflect on our incredible experience and digital detox, our Sweden exploration isn’t over just yet! 🍳🐾 This is a very long drive that, if we wish, we can interrupt by overnighting in one of the beautiful towns we will pass through.

The drive will take us through some charming rural towns, so why not take our time and see what they have to offer? 🏡🌳 Depending on our arrival time in Stockholm or whether we choose to stay overnight, we can either celebrate the end of our adventure with a lovely dinner or head straight to bed. After all, it’s been a long day, and we’ll still have breakfast together tomorrow. 🍽️🛏️

DAY 6: DEPARTURE DAY ✈️🏡 Our adventure comes to an end this morning. After packing our bags and checking out, we’ll head to the airport, return our car, and board our flight home. 🧳🚗✈️ The experience we’ve shared has been absolutely unique.
