We'll start our trip in Milano where everyone will arrive, and ride in a car or van all the way down to Rome stopping in historic cities like Venice, Modena, Pisa and Florence. With numerous activities and wonderful sightseeing places, we will visit worldly known sites and buildings, art galleries and epic natural beauties, all of that while eating some of the best food in the world you can only find in Italy.

About me: My name is André Janeiro, I'm 28 years old and was born in Brazil. I have a passion for travelling and getting to know new places, especially for their culture and food. My goal is to share this passion with my TripMates!

Accommodation: We're staying preferably in Airbnb's where we can have our own routine and everybody can have more comfort and privacy, although, if not possible for any reason, a second option would be a hotel or a bed & breakfast. It's believed to be both private and shared accommodations, but it will depend on group size and the stays. Do you have a question? Reach out in the Q&A!

1

Milan

Tag 1-4
Staying around Milano there are a bunch of awesome places to visit like Piazza Del Duomo, going to Lake Como, trying to get a spot to see Leonardo Da Vinci's The Last Supper painting, visiting the district of Navigli which has all sorts of restaurants and bars and any other activity you find interesting.
2

Province of Verona

Tag 4-7
The next stop is Verona the city of love, where Shakespeare's greatest novel, Romeo and Juliet took place. Also, Arena di Verona is the world's first amphitheatre. With lots of cool places to visit and good restaurants to eat, it is a strategic stop for the next stops of our trip.
3

Dolomites

Tag 7
-ONE DAY TRIP- An optional but really worthy place to visit is the Dolomites, a little farther away but gorgeous! Here we can embrace the beautiful mountains and lakes, maybe have a picnic or a drink at a lakeside restaurant. It is completely up to us what we want to do.
4

Venice

Tag 7
-ONE DAY TRIP- Venice is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. A place surrounded by history, art, music, joy and entertainment. Walking around the city or taking a gondola, we must visit Piazza San Marco for a traditional Spritz and the Rialto Bridge over the Grand Canal where we have the traditional Venetian Markets. Another really cool place to visit is the island of Burano with its colorful little houses.
5

Modena

Tag 7
-STOP- This is a city steeped in tradition and elegance, boasting the prestigious brands of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Balsamic Vinegar. It is also the birthplace of renowned personalities such as Massimo Bottura, the chef behind Osteria Francescana, which has topped the world's 50 best restaurants list twice. Additionally, it is the hometown of the legendary opera singer Luciano Pavarotti.
6

Florence

Tag 7-10
The cradle of the Renaissance, with lots of museums, art, culture and food. Florence is maybe the most renowned place of art in the world, where Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo lived and made their legacy. Besides world-famous art and historic places like Ponte Vecchio, the mountains are great for a hike and the local cuisine is a must! For meat-eaters, the Bistecca alla Fiorentina(T-bone steak) and for vegetarians the Ribollita soup, made with fresh veggies and a piece of hard bread.
7

Pisa

Tag 10
-ONE DAY TRIP- Just an hour away from Florence is the city of Pisa, also known as the City of Miracles because of its worldly-known leaning tower. Great for an appetizer by the river or around the square with the tower as background.
8

Asciano

Tag 10
-STOP- Just in the middle of the road on our way to Rome, there's Asciano, a very famous region for its pine trees along the roads that combined with the Tuscany hills create a beautiful view that is to be remembered for a lifetime.
9

Saturnia

Tag 10
-STOP- Possibility to spend the night. Also on the way to Rome, there is Terme di Saturnia. It consists of natural springs of volcanic hot water, great for a relaxing evening watching the sunset and the moon rising. We can choose to bathe and keep travelling to Rome or stay in a comfy hotel around the area.
10

Rome

Tag 10-14
Our last stop and final destination is the eternal city of Rome. There's so much history and stuff to do and visit here that I'm almost overwhelmed to write about it. The Colosseum, The Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, The Roman Forum, just to name a few. So many famous restaurants and cafés that are operating for hundreds of years, and the little historic district of Trastevere with bars and live music. Rome is so much that I reserved an extra day, so we're sure we didn't leave anything behind us.
