Oslo Airport
Tag 1
On the first day we'll travel from Oslo airport to our first stop. The road will take ~8 hours. First 2 hours it will be a common highway and you'll have some time to rest after your flight. But then highway changes to road through forests and mountains where even in summer you might see the snow. We'll stay for the night in some quiet and comfortable place, where you can enjoy evening and prepare for the next day hiking.

Pulpit Rock
Tag 1-2
Hiking to Preikestolen Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock) towers 604 meters above the Lysefjord, and the trek there is one of Norway’s most famous mountain hikes. ~2 hours to get there from our first stop place. Here we will onboard our first ferry on the route. The hike to Preikestolen is a total of 8 kilometers, and the round trip takes 4-6 hours. The hike has an elevation gain of about 500 meters, and some sections are steep. As the hike is graded as medium difficulty, you should have some minimal trekking experience in rough terrain before embarking on this trip. In the end of the day we'll take a road to Bergen. Depending on time of coming down from the rock we might also visit the City of Stavanger. On the road to Bergen we'll take 2 ferries and also pass Bomlafjord Tunnel - one of the longest and deepest sub-sea tunnels.

Bergen
Tag 2-4
Standing on a peninsula surrounded by seven mountains, beautiful Bergen is Norway’s western capital and gateway to the fjords. The Gulf Stream blesses Bergen with a benign climate and a harbor that is ice-free year-round. We'll stay in this city for 2 nights, so you can have a rest after previous day long hiking and have enough time to visit Bergen city center, Bergen fishing market to buy local fresh seafood and/or cooked seafood dishes, get to a 320 meters city observation platform via Floibanen funicular. Optionally you might want to visit Bergen aquarium for a seal show. Fishing in Bergen also might be a good idea.

Leikanger
Tag 4-5
On day 4 we'll start moving deeper into Norway, exploring fjords and mountains on the way. Numerous ferries, waterfalls, lakes, fishing spots and observation platforms are awaiting. Exploring beauties of Sognefjord while enjoying surroundings.

Geiranger
Tag 5-6
In 2005, the Geirangerfjord, as part of the West Norwegian Fjords, was inscribed on UNESCO’s list.The fjord landscape, and the unique climatic and geological conditions in the area, make it one of the most beautiful and distinctive fjord areas on the planet.You can also find the ruins of old farms and mountain pasture farms that have great cultural value.Large parts of the Geirangerfjord and surrounding area make up a landscape protection area

Trollstigen

As one of the most famous Norwegian Scenic Routes, Trollstigen (“The Trolls Road”) is a visual feast. If you see it from the right height and angle, you can feel the view hit you in your stomach. On this road, even the bravest can feel the adrenaline pump through their veins. The stretch of road that climbs up the mountain is not particularly long, but the National Tourist Route from Geiranger to the bottom of Romsdal valley cover a ground of 100 kilometres. It takes you through the mighty nature of Fjord Norway and offers breathtaking views, steep mountain slopes and high waterfalls. Framing the experience are lofty mountains with names like Kongen (“the King”), Dronningen (“the Queen”), Bispen (“the Bishop”) Trollveggen (“The Trolls Wall”), Romsdalshorn and Alnestind. The road twists through eleven hairpin bends as it climbs up to Stigrøra, 858 metres above sea level. An impressive bridge carries the road across the Stigfossen waterfall. The road is carved into the mountain and supported by stone walls.

Åndalsnes
Tag 6-7
A first for any visitor is the hike up to the dizzying Rampestreken viewing platform. Take your fjord foray to new heights in Åndalsnes, Norway’s mountaineering mecca. Yet another rush awaits if you head up the 11 world-famous hairpin bends to the Trollstigen plateau. At the top, you can enjoy both beautiful architecture and an unforgettable panoramic view from the viewing platform.

Atlantic Ocean Road
Tag 7
A unique stretch of road which takes you right out to the ocean's edge. In 2005, the road was voted Norway's «Engineering Feat of the Century», and is also known to be the world's most beautiful drive.

Alesund
Tag 7-8
Famous for its Art Nouveau architecture, Ålesund is the cultural centre of the Sunnmøre region A devastating fire in 1904 left much of Ålesund in ashes. The rebuilding resulted in a city that contains some of Europe's best examples of Art Nouveau architecture. You can choose between or combine walking beautiful streets of Alesund and fishing Storfjorden (fjord).

Gardermoen, Norway
Tag 8
The final day. We'll be heading from Alesund to Oslo airport. Not really much to see in comparison to previous days, but still lots of mountains and waterfalls on the way. Depending on time of departures we also can visit Lillehammer Olympic Park. Lillehammer hosted the Olympic Winter Games in 1994, and the Olympic spirit is still alive throughout the region.
