Hey! My name is Niki (22) and I'm from Bulgaria. I'm currently on a Work and Travel program in the USA. I'll be working in Maine till the end of September and plan to travel down the East coast at the beginning of October. I'm looking for 1-5 TripMates with the same interests and who want to visit similar places like me and have fun. I'm interested in museums and sightseeing since it's my first time here. I'm posting my initial plans here, but everything can be changed so that it will be interesting for everyone. The budget is also changeable since I'm looking mainly at hostels, but if we make a group we can even rent Airbnbs. The price includes: - Accommodation (hostels or Airbnb) - Transportation between cities and major attractions and sights. I also want to visit a Nike store and find a sushi place with one of those sushi trains. Maybe go to a club/bar and explore as much as possible before my flight home. Here's the rough schedule: Boston (1 - 4 October) New York (4 - 8 October) A day trip to Niagara Falls Washington, D.C. Boston

Tag 1-4

Ready for two fun weeks in the USA? We will meet up in Boston and depending on everyone's arrival time we can already explore the city. I would love to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and the New England Aquarium, and I am open to other suggestions. Since we will be there for ther nights, there will be enough time to visit more places and take amazing pictures together.

New York

Tag 4-8

New York will be our next stop, and I can't wait to visit this amazing city! Here we'll see all the "basic" tourist attractions because they're super interesting. Some things we will see are The Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Times Square and Central Park. There is a CityPASS we can buy and visit a lot of the sights at a cheaper price without having to wait in lines. We can go shopping and food tasting. On one of the days, we can book a Niagara Falls trip from 4 a.m. till midnight. This is something you just need to see once in your life.

Niagara Falls

Tag 8

The Niagara Falls will leave us speechless for sure - and we might even get wet on a boat tour there! We'll come here with an organized tour because it includes transportation, and we don't have to worry about that. I already found a good tour operator to explore the beauty of Niagara Falls with. At the end of the day, We'll be back in New York. (The date for the tour is not fixated, so this is not the final order.)

Washington

Tag 8-11

Our next stop will be Washington, and we will stay there for three nights, which gives us enough time to explore the city and see all the famous sightseeing spots without having to rush. Here we will visit for example the White House and the Lincoln Memorial. Another place ideally interested in is the Smithsonian Institute, but we can decide on that together.

Miami

Tag 11-13

Our last stop will be Miami! This city is famous for its amazing long beach, where we can spend some time relaxing and go out to party in the evening. The nightlife there is great, and we will have some drinks together on our last night before having to say goodbye the next day. Hopefully, we will travel together again in the future!
