We sleep in the next day, and we'll do it all again on the next day. Outfit, Foods and drinks are not included. But first round is on me! We check out of the apartment on Sunday. Check out is flexible. We have created a WhatsApp group, and we'll try to keep everything fair and split the costs via splitwise/revolut.

About me: I'm Julie from Belgium. World explorer and party queen. I am travelling fulltime since april and so far, I had 2 really good experiences with join my trip. I am an extravert and I love good talks, red wine and nature. Who's coming already? Julia from Germany living in London. Adrian from Spain. So the language of instruction will be English. Wanted: 1-2 people who want to make Oktoberfest unsafe on 22 and 23 September. In Antwerp, on Thursday evening, September 21, I will take a Flixbus to Munich and arrive around 11 am the next day. Someone canceled.

Accommodation: The accommodation is in Hiltensperger Strasse, Munich. I rented this apartment last year as well, but since we had some cancellations, trying it out here as well. I rented a BNB for 2 nights, cost is shared by participants. There are now 3 of us. The apartment is 20 minutes from Oktoberfest and close to public transport and shops. Dirndl or lederhosen can be purchased in Munich at the C&A. Don't expect great luxury, there is a double bed, a double mattress on the floor and a place on the sofa. If you are interested, send a message after reserving your spot!

Party time! Oktoberfest! The world's largest beer festival held in Munich, Germany. It's a fantastic event where millions of people gather to enjoy traditional Bavarian beer, music, and food. The festival starts in late September and runs for about three weeks. It's definitely a must-visit for beer enthusiasts and those looking to experience German culture at its finest. Prost! 🍻

Check out is flexible on Sunday. This is where we say goodbye. Since we did not sleep that much, that will be welcome. We hand back our keys and get back home. Here are some fun facts about Oktoberfest: 1. The very first Oktoberfest took place in Munich, Germany in 1810 as a celebration of the wedding between Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. The festivities were so grand that it became an annual tradition. 2. Oktoberfest is all about beer! More than 7 million liters of beer are consumed during the festival. That's enough to fill about three Olympic-sized swimming pools! 3. Traditional Bavarian outfits, known as dirndls for women and lederhosen for men, are commonly worn during Oktoberfest. They add to the festive atmosphere and make for great photo opportunities. 4. Besides beer, traditional Bavarian cuisine is a big part of the Oktoberfest experience. You can indulge in delicious treats like pretzels, sausages, sauerkraut, and roasted chicken. 5. The "Schottenhamel" tent is the place to be on the opening day of Oktoberfest. That's where the Mayor of Munich taps the first keg of beer and shouts "O'zapft is!" which means "It's tapped!" 6. In addition to beer tents, there are also carnival rides, games, and attractions at Oktoberfest. From Ferris wheels to roller coasters, there's something for everyone to enjoy. 7. Oktoberfest has become a global celebration, with events inspired by the Munich festival taking place in cities around the world. So even if you can't make it to Germany, you might still be able to join in the fun closer to home. Oktoberfest is a lively and memorable experience, filled with good times, great food, and of course, plenty of beer. Enjoy responsibly and immerse yourself in the festive spirit! 🍻🎡
