I am looking for fun, energetic people to join me in the magical Arabian setting of Jordan!
Jordan is one of the wealthiest countries in the Middle East, with a rich cultural history they are combining with the modern day world, this trip is sure to blow you away! We will be driving through Jordan in a car (I can drive) which is perfectly safe. I have planned the itinerary but of course, if there is anything you would like to chop and change in the areas we are visiting, you are more than welcome too!
I am 31, British, and have been traveling solo for over 15 years. I have been organizing group & individual trips as a career for over 8 years around Asia, Africa, the Oceania & Americas. I am a travel nerd, especially when it comes to sustainable, authentic & budget travel. I love learning about new cultures, seeing new sights & getting to know new people. I am fun, energetic but at the same time extremely street wise in foreign destinations and full of knowledge on the best ways to tackle situations in new cultures & environments. You can trust I have planned our itinerary with logistics such as travel times & costings in mind, so you can enjoy the experience without worrying about the logistics of every day getting from A-B. If you would like to find out more about me or any of my other trips, head over to my Join my trip profile.

DAY 1: Arrive into Amman, settle into our accommodation (you can check in from 14:00, if you arrive early, you can leave your luggage with the accommodation and go out and explore for the day). Amman is a welcoming and safe city to wander around. You'll find older streets and ruins. You'll also find the more modern cafés if you need to catch up on some work for the afternoon. We will have a family dinner all together at 19:30 so let's meet in reception by 19:15 in the evening to meet in person finally!

DAY 2: Drive over to Petra (this is a fairly long journey). Petra is also called the "Rose City" because of the color of the stone from which it is carved & dates back to 300 BC. It is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. This evening you can choose to opt into the candlelight session at nighttime where the rock formations are illuminated, and the locals enjoy the spiritual side of the creation should you wish.
DAY 3: Early start this morning as we beat the crowds into Petra and spend as many hours as we like exploring. Pose above the well known treasury or get lost amongst the stone walkways. This day is pretty heavy on the legs, hence why after we will return to the accommodation to rest rather than carrying straight on

Day 4: Make our way to Wadi Rum, here we will be staying in a bubble hotel for some great picture moments sleeping under the stars. Wadi Rum has been described as the place that is most similar to Mars due to the red expansive space in between the natural rocks that form the landscape. We will go out exploring Wadi Rum on an adventure in the afternoon and the following morning for some great sunset & sunrise opportunities.

Dead Sea

Day 5: Upon leaving Wadi Rum we will continue to the Dead Sea - however, en route we will make a stop at Wadi Mujib. The Siq trail at Wadi Mujib Biosphere Reserve is not a trail like any other. In fact, it’s more than a trail – it’s a unique experience that mixes hiking and canyoning. It allows us to climb the bed of the Mujib River from its mouth in the Dead Sea and for about 1.5 km to a beautiful waterfall with a pool below.
Once burnt out from the hike, we will continue to our hotel by the Dead Sea to enjoy some floating around in the lowest place on earth (430 meters below sea level).

DAY 6: Drive back to Amman to finish exploring the city, an optional trip for us to drive to Jerash from Jordan is also possible prior to returning our hire car. Jerash is a beautiful, less well known city to take a walk around and have a look at the ruins there.
DAY 7: Choose any time to depart!
