Day 1: Arrival in Honolulu, Hawai A warm Aloha and Welcome to Hawaii🏝️🐠! Today, we arrive at Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on O‘ahu Island and depending on the time of your arrival, you can either explore Honolulu, the capital city of the Hawaii archipelago, or make your way straight from the airport to our accomodation, where we will meet as a group in the evening once everyone has arrived and settled in (details will be provided a few weeks before departure). There is a shuttle bus running directly from the airport to the city centre. In the late evening, we have time to get to know our fellow trip mates and you receive a detailed introduction into what to look forward to during the next two weeks🙂! Day 2: Since our accomodation will be in or close to Waikiki, we have a convenient starting point for sightseeing and explorations from here. We will visit Honolulu City today, get to the historical port of Pearl Harbor and visit the USS Arizona Memorial, which includes a boat ride. The late afternoon is reserved for some nature and to unwind in the Wahiawā Botanical Garden, located a little bit outside of Honolulu. There are public busses running frequently. Back on Waikiki beach, we can chill out with a local dinner and fresh cocktails and marvel the sunset. Day 3: Sunbathing time on Waikiki Beach! Today morning is free to relax and sunbathe or try out some cool watersports like surfing, SUP and more! After lunch we head together to a special location, a Lūʻau Show. Lūʻau is a a Hawaiian feast featuring lively music and vibrant cultural performances, hand-on experiences and a buffet from Hawaii and greater Polynesia. Live dance and an all-you-can-eat buffet, activities like games and coconut husking are all part of our afternoon program today. INCLUSIVE ✅ 3 nights in Honolulu (4-bed dorm) ✅ Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona Memorial incl. boat transfer ✅ Visit the tropical Wahiawā Botanical Garden ✅ Sunbathe on Waikiki Beach and stroll Honolulu ✅ Luau Show with Hawaiian live music, dances, and All-you-can-eat buffet incl. round-trip transfer ADDITIONAL ❌ Public bus, taxi transfers, meals ❌ Flight to Hawaii

Day 4: Today, we fly from Honolulu to Moloka‘i Island, the flight takes only 40 minutes. If we have a late flight, we will have time to visit a pineapple plantation and take a bus to the west side of the island O‘ahu. Once we reached the airport Moloka‘i, we will share a taxi (not included) to our accomodation and spend the rest of the day relaxing and putting the toes in the sand while sipping on a cool drink. Day 5: Today morning, we will get our rental car for a whole day and expore the island. What makes Molokaʻi so special is the fact that it is still largely unexplored by tourists and remains true to its island roots, with a high percentage of its population being of Native Hawaiian ancestry. We will explore the Kalaupapa National Historical Park and take a break by Pāpōhaku Beach, one of Hawaiʻi’s largest white-sand beaches. This island is also believed to be the place where the Hula Dance originated. Day 6: We leave this remote and silent island behind and fly from Moloka‘i to Maui. We will receive our rental car at the Maui Airport and drive to our accommodation for the next four days. Maui was last heard of for a very sad reason: The 2023 wildfires resulted in the devastating loss of lives and nature and since the island depends heavily on tourism, locals are welcoming everyone who visits and supports the economy with open arms. INCLUSIVE ✅ Rental car on Moloka‘i (1 full day) excl. gasoline/petrol ✅ 2 nights in an apartment on Moloka‘i ✅ Explore the birthplace of the Hula Dance ADDITIONAL ❌ Hotel taxi transfers on first and last day on the island ❌ Flight Honolulu (HNL) - Moloka‘i (MKK)

Day 7: After breakfast we jump into our first adventure on Maui! On our first full day, we make the most of our rental car and drive up to Ahihi-Kinau Reserve and other amazing places. Pack your snorkel and mask for the day! We will drive the picturesque Hana Highway in the north-east of Maui and make many snorkel and swimming stops along the way. Day 8: Today, we get up early (or those who wish to see the sunrise) and drive up to the Haleakala National Park where we will walk up the summit. If we are lucky, we might park close to the summit and it will be a short walk of about 15 minutes up. In case of many tourists, we might have to walk about an hour. But in any way, witnessing the sun rise from sacret Haleakalā summit from 10,023 foot (3055m) is a very moving and beautiul experience. After the sunrise, we will have some breakfast and start our hike around the national park. The afternoon and evening we will spend by a serene beach. INCLUSIVE ✅ 4 nights on Maui (in a cozy camper trailer with all facilities - see photos) [if we are more than 4, we might have two trailers or stay in a hostel or Airbnb] ✅ Rental car during the entire stay on the island excl. gasoline/petrol ✅ Sunrise on the Haleakala Summit ✅ Haleakalā National Park incl. entrance fees ADDITIONAL ❌ Flight Molokai (MKK) - Maui (OGG)

Lanai

Day 9: Lanai Island Legend has it that this island was created as a result of a contest between the two kahunas (priests of Lanai and Molokai) to see who could keep a fire burning longer. If you want to feel like you are walking on Mars, this is the place to be. We take over by boat from Maui to Lanai Island and have a full day to spend there and explore this small archipelago. First come first: our jeep will be awaiting us by the jetty and we will first drive up to a rocky desert called Keahiakawelo, also known as the Garden of the Gods. On the 1-hour drive we will pass Lanai City where we can fill the car with extra snacks and water for the day. The Keahiakawelo is an otherworldly lunar landscape which features a massive rock garden filled with rock towers and boulders. This wild and windswept area is unique to this Hawaiian island feeling as if you are on another planet. INCLUSIVE ✅ Round-trip transfer Maui - Lanai - Maui ✅ Jeep rental on the island excl. gasoline/petrol ✅ Explore Keahiakawelo - A Mars-like landscape ✅ Drive up to Kaiolohia (Shipwreck Beach) ✅ Hike the Koloiki Ridge Trail (7.3 km or 4.5 mi circular route) ✅ Chill-out by the pristine beaches

Island of Hawai'i

Day 10: This is our last day on Maui and depending on the flight schedule from Maui to Island of Hawai'i (also called Big Island) we can either spend more time on Maui and explore more places or we spend the day on Island of Hawai'i. Once we arrive at our place, we unpack, rest a bit and start with the exploration of the island. On the Island of Hawai'i we have a rental car as well, which means that we are flexible and can see many hidden and amazing spots. Day 11: Today, we visit two of the most stunning beached of Hawaii: The Punalu’u Black Sand Beach and Papakōlea Beach (also known as Green Sand Beach). Another great spot to learn about the local culture is a stop by a coffee plantation, where you can taste and buy freshly roasted beans and other souveniers. If we like, we can stop by a vanilla farm along the way as well (additional fee applies, the farm offers guided tours, which are not included in this itinerary). Day 12: Today, I will give everyone a completely free day to rest. You can either book an additional activity such as whale watching, surfing, diving or another trip or feel free to be dropped by a beautiful beach and spend a day there - remember, we have our car :). In the evening we all meet again for dinner. Day 13: Finally it is time to visit the UNESCO world-heritage site, the Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. There are two main vulcanos in the area. And the Kilauea Volcano is the most active volcano on earth, spitting fire until today! We have time to go on a wonderful hike in the national park and enjoy a picnic there. The second half of the day we spend in the Puʻukoholā Heiau National Historic Site. The site is a historic temples, so-called "heiau", and symbolizes unification and lasting peace. During whale season, means when we are on Hawaii, humpback whales can be spotted along the coast where the temple stands. Day 14: Last day of the trip and departure Today, unfortunately, we already say goodbye to our newly found friends. Depending on the time of your flight, you can join the group for breakfast in a nearby beach café and enjoy the rest of the day simply sunbathing on the beach. You can fly home from either Kona International Airport (KOA) or from Hilo International Airport (ITO). Check the flight connections from both airports to find the best fare. "A hui hou" – Until we meet 💁♀️. INCLUSIVE ✅ 3 nights in a hostel (private dorm for our group) ✅ Rental car during the entire stay on the island excl. gasoline/petrol ✅ Visit Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park incl. entry fee ✅ Visit Archaeological Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Park incl. entry fee ✅ Visit a coffee plantation ✅ Discover stunning waterfalls, white beaches and more ADDITIONAL ❌ Flight Maui (OGG) - Island of Hawai'i (KOA or MUE or ITO) and return flight from Hawaii
