From exploring the many markets and temples to sampling delicious Indian food, there is no shortage of things to do here. And if you're looking for a truly unique New Year's Eve experience, Goa is the place to be!

About me: My name is Hetvi, I am a travel freak by the day and work a corporate at night. Always on a trip, or planning one. Goa is my favorite place to be for New Year's, and I invite you to join me on a trip to hidden Goa to ring in the new year with a bang! I know the best spots, from beaches to amazing parties, so you can experience the real magic of this amazing place. I am looking for TripMates who can click good photos. I would love to travel with you if you know how to party and stay decent 😊 Bonus if you can teach me to dance.. haha! Any expenses incurred during the trip will be shared via Splitwise app.

Accommodation: I'm so excited that we'll be staying in a comfortable dorm on a sharing basis during our trip. Since we'll be spending most of our time outside, the accommodations will be slightly far from the main town, but this means that we'll be able to enjoy the peace and quiet at night. Sounds exciting? Let's kick off our Goa adventure together! Our starting point is Goa Airport, where we'll meet our fellow TripMates at Arrival gate no. 2. From there, we'll hop into a car and head to our accommodations in South Goa. Along the way, we'll stop for a quick bite or beer, if you're up for it.

South Goa

Tag 1-2

Day 1: Are you ready? Airport to South Goa (57 km / 1.2 hours) Arrive in Goa and check into your rooms. Afternoon: We enjoy lunch in beach shacks and enjoy the sun and sand. Evening: Trip to Agonda Beach and explore the secluded coves. Night: Have dinner at a local restaurant in Benaulim and sample the authentic Goan cuisine.

North Goa

Tag 2-4

Day 2: Are you ready to say goodbye to 2023? Morning: Soak in the sun while we go beach hopping Afternoon: We go café hopping and enjoy the tasty cuisines Come back to the accommodation to get some rest Night: Attend a party, dance the night away, and say Happy New Year. We do not make any resolutions because, let's be honest they don't last more than a week 😉 Day 3 After a delicious Brunch, spend the day exploring the flea market. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Evening: Attend your first New Year party and experience the unique Goan nightlife.

A bittersweet farewell to a beautiful adventure After one last delicious breakfast together, it's time to say goodbye to this amazing adventure. We've explored the stunning beaches and hidden coves of South Goa, experienced the authentic culture of North Goa, and danced the night away at some of the wildest parties in the world. As we leave, we can't help but feel a sense of sadness. We've made so many wonderful memories together, and we're going to miss this place dearly. But we're also filled with hope for the future. We know that 2024 is going to be a great year, and we're excited to see what adventures await us.
