The trip is a 2 day and 1 night tour to the Mekong Delta. We first travel to Dong Thap Province and have some good coffee at my in-laws house- yes, my Mrs will also be coming. Then off to see a very small and a treasure of a pagoda. Its from the movie 'The Lover' after the book from Marguerite Dumas. There is info from our side and in the Pagoda and the love affair of Marguerite Dumas. Its a famous book/movie called The Lover. Also, pretty flat and local bike ride for about 2 hours near their house. Its an amazing way to see orginal folk and how they live in their daily life. Around the end of the afternoon, we arrive in Can Tho, the Might Capital of the Mekong Delta. Day two is the Magical floating market, a must-see in Vietnam. An early start with Floating boats serving you coffee or fresh juices at the market. Then sit back and watch the Market from our boat....truly amazing. Later, we visit a fruit garden to taste the local produce. In the afternoon back to Saigon.

Details about the accommodation: Hotel is in Can Tho City. We are very close to the river and it's a 3 minutes walk to the river and the local market. Comfortable and 3-star. Breakfast is included, however, we will have breakfast close to the floating market. Also, all rooms have showers and toilets inside. Security and wifi are 24 hrs open. Do you have a question? Here, we will have lunch and visit the small Pagoda, where the couple's fotos are still to be seen. It is a lovely place with great photos of the 2 folk who were at the center piece of the Book, The Lover and movie.

Here, we can do a little walking, some coffee drinking and a 2 hour bike trip slowly and surely in this fruit tree paradise. My wife lives here, so, meet the parents... oh, before I forget, the coffee is on us today.

Head quarters of the Might Mekong Delta From HCMC (Saigon), we have to travel to Can Tho, about 158 km away. On the way, we can do some short walks and drink local coffee- which is so good. In Can Tho, we must travel by boat for 25 minutes to reach the Magical Floating Market.
