Hey!👋 Do you want to experience things that regular people usually miss and learn about the hidden gems💎of the north of Portugal? I have the perfect adventure for you! I'm excited to share with you a taste of Trás-os-Montes (a region in the north of Portugal) in 4 days. Yes! 4 days where we'll go back in time to historical buildings 🏰, experience cultural dishes 🥘, have a chance to taste our Portuguese lovely Douro wines (optional) 🍷, adventure in a set of activities in Pena Aventura Park 🌄 and finally to get back home well rested a visit to a spa on Pedras Salgadas nature park. 🚗 Since the area we're going to travel to is composed of villages/nature, and we have little time, to be more efficient our transportation will be done by a rental car. I can drive, although other drivers are always warmly welcomed. 🪧 This is a place that I know very well so, for me, it's easy to adapt including any suggestion you might have, my only concern is having a smooth journey during this little duration trip, balancing relaxation and active times. 🤝 The activities are a mix of cultural and natural experiences that stimulate the use of all your senses. I'll go into more detail about each one in the day's description. I do have some others under my sleeve, depending on the preferences of the TripMates I'll be sharing this trip with. 🫰 For expenses like groceries or other activities, we'll be using the app Sliptwise to help us sync with our responsibilities. 🥺 In the unfortunate case of not finding 6 TripMates, we'll have to share a higher price on accommodation and transportation.

I'm a very open-minded and active person that will show and tell you, with great pleasure, the best of this part of the north, a place filled with history and natural richness ready to make you feel alive and connected with yourself.

🏡 Our accommodation will be a complex of bungalows, meaning that we'll have 3 bungalows T1: 2 single beds 🛏 shared room T2: 2 double beds in separate rooms + 1 sofa bed T2:2 double beds in separate rooms + 1 sofa bed Options are couples 🫂 friendly. The house is equipped with all the comforts we might need, we do have a complete kitchen in addition to a wonderful garden/patio with a barbecue station and pool to relax and use in case we want to have meals at home. **** In case no one wants to stay on the sofa bed I have an alternative stay. Tag 1-2

Meeting point and City day! ❗ IMPORTANT WE'LL MEET IN PORTO ❗ Porto - Vila Real: 🕐1h15 drive by car (one trip) ✈️ For those who come by plane, I'll catch you at OPO airport (Porto airport). If there are other transport options, I'll reach out to you personally and we will solve it! Depending on the meeting time we can have lunch/dinner in this city and enjoy our beloved wooden stove Francesinha 🥘 (cultural dish) at my favorite restaurant: La Forneria. They have veggie options 🍃. 🛒 We can take the chance of being in the city and buying any groceries we might want to have for the next few days, but there are other options closer to our accommodation if we don't. Activities: A guided tour to 🏰 Casa de Mateus (Mateus's house) a National Monument built in the 18th century where we'll travel back in time, get enchanted by its garden, and taste some local wines (optional). Vila Real - Accommodation: 🕐35 min drive by car We'll finally see our lovely home, the place where we will sleep for the next 3 nights.

Tag 2-3

Active and nature day! In the morning 🌄 1. Lovely breakfast at the village where we'll sleep; 2. Explore the surroundings of our accommodation possible visit Falperra's dam along with its natural richness and biodiversity. There's a scenic walk we can take around the dam, I'll bring my binoculars in case there's a birdwatcher or a curious person in the group! Alternatively, there's the option to stay in the village. 3. For lunch we can arrange to eat at home or go to a restaurant nearby. In the afternoon ☀️ 1. Go to Pena Aventura Park in Ribeira de Pena and start our adventure pack! a) Fantasticable b) Alpine Coaster (a type of roller coaster) c) E-trot (fox trail) - trail with an eletric scooter that looks like a bycicle but it isn't 😂 ⏱️ Total Duration: 2h 🤼‍♂️ Difficulty: easy 🧘‍♀️ 👟 Things to bring: Comfortable footwear ℹ️ Disclaimer: Fantasticable is a zip-line so, people who are scared of heights are not advised. Also, we can make the activities in whatever order we prefer! In case we have time in the afternoon, we can visit a beautiful hidden river that I love 😄. In the night ✨ Dinner/ Home in the village/ home party/ stargazing or just relaxing.

Pedras Salgadas

Tag 3-4

Spa & Natural park day! In the morning 🌄 Breakfast Visit Pedras Salgadas Park, a marvelous combination of nature with ecological constructions, historical buildings, and a taste of rare natural carbonated mineral water. 1. We'll walk through the park 2. Lunch in the historical town. In the afternoon ☀️ 💆‍♂️ Spa circuit - We'll enjoy the indoor pool, sauna, and Turkish bath for ⏱️ 2 hours. After that, we have the freedom to choose what we want to do for the rest of the day/night.

Tag 4

Final day & departure 🛫 This is the day I'll take you back to Porto/Porto airport. I have several options depending on your plans for departure: 1. In case you decide to depart ✈️ on this same day, -> I can take you back to Porto/Porto airport. 2. In case the flight is scheduled for other days we can -> Relax/stay at home and prepare for departure; -> Do some activities like visiting the ruins of Castle D'Aguiar or Guilhermino Rodrigues wood artist before departing; -> Free day to explore by yourselves; -> Explore neighbor villages; -> Cry because it's the last day 😭; -> Schedule comebacks 😂.
