Join me for this special adventure to Indonesia exploring the beautiful island of Bali!!! We will explore together the secret gems of this paradise on Earth: we will relax on beautiful beaches, do watersports, snorkeling, we will explore Ubud and the iconic Pura Lempuyang Temple, the Tegalalang rice terraces, the Monkey Forest. We will also experience the spirituality of this place, enjoying yoga and meditations sessions, and visiting the Pura Tirta Tempul, Bali's water temple and the iconic Pura Lempuyang Temple known as the Gateway to Heaven! We will organise extra activities like excursions to Nusa Penida Island, we will learn how to surf and we will relax enjoying the traditional Balinese spa treatments. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TRIP WILL BE CONFIRMED WHEN THERE WILL BE AT LEAST 4 BOOKINGS BY 29TH AUGUST 2024 OR IT WILL BE POSTPONED UNTIL IT GETS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS.
My name is Mara and I am an Italian actress and theatre maker based in London. I love organising trips and travelling around the world between auditions and shows. I have always desired to explore Bali and I thought to organise this trip to share this experience with other like minded travellers from all over the world as I love meeting new people and making new friends travelling. I am also curious to discover the Balinese culture, dance and performing arts. If you are an explorer like me and would love both hiking, climbing a volcano, surfing, doing excursions but also enjoying the spiritual side visiting temples and doing yoga, meditation to find positive energy and being connected with the Universe this trip is for you.
We will stay in shared rooms in a hotel or guest houses with a private bathroom (private room option is available upon request with an extra fee). Breakfast will be included. All accommodations will have a swimming pool where to relax after the daily excursions. We will sleep mainly in Ubud but also we will spend one night in Seminyak and Uluwatu.

Ubud
Tag 1-4
We will meet at our beautiful villa in Ubud city centre where our adventure will start exploring the city! We will visit the Iconic Hindu Temple Pura Taman Saraswati, the Ubud Palace, the Monkey Forest Sanctuary, the Ubud Art Market and going to Campuhan Ridge walk to enjoy the sunset. We will end the first day enjoying the Balinese Spa (optional activity) or relaxing in the accommodation swimming pool before going out for dinner and drinks.

Tampaksiring
Tag 4-5
We will start the day attending a yoga class (optional activity) before visiting the Tegalalang rice terraces. We will head to Tempaksiring in the afternoon to visit the Tirta Empul Water Temple and explore the Kanto Lampo Waterfall in the heart of Bali's rainforest. And why not? maybe taking a beautiful picture on the popular Bali swing! We will be back to Ubud for the night.

Penataran Agung Lempuyang Temple
Tag 5-6
We will head to visit the iconic Pura Lempuyang Temple known as the "Gateway to Heaven" and of course we will have fun taking a lot of pictures together! We will be back to Ubud in the afternoon and decide which extra activity to do together depending on the time, no stress, no rush!

Nusa Penida island
Tag 6-7
It's Beach Time! We will go to the Nuda Penida Island and have fun at the Kelingking Beach known as "Dinosaur Head" Beach! You can't say that you have been in Bali without being in this beautiful beach! This is the perfect spot for swimming and snorkelling and we will spend all day chilling and enjoying the island.

Seminyak Beach
Tag 7-8
We will move to enjoy the Seminyak Beach, another popular beach in Bali known for its night life! It's also the perfect spot for surfing or learning how to surf like me and we will take a lesson in Kuta Beach (optional activity). We will also explore the hipster area of Canggun and then all night partying!

Uluwatu
Tag 8-9
We will wake up early to enjoy the sunrise on the Mount Batur! We might have time for a hot spring as well before heading to our last stop of this adventure: Uluwatu. We will relax on the beach and then visit the Uluwatu Temple in the afternoon where we can watch the Kecak Dance Show (optional) or we will enjoy the sunset from a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Ubud
Tag 9
We will be back to where we met and started this trip together! We will spend this last day relaxing and getting the opportunity to visit some new places we wanted to see but we didn't have time or to do some new activities or just chilling and having drinks together before saying goodbye to your new friends :)
