We invite you to embark on a truly transformative journey amid the majestic Himalayas, where Nepal waits to reveal its deepest secrets. Home to Mount Everest, revered as the Mother Goddess of the World by local cultures, this captivating country invites us to explore its magnificent landscapes and remote villages, where genuine smiles and heartfelt hospitality abound. On this special expedition, carefully designed by us, we want to share all the delights and emotions we experience when we set foot on this sacred ground for the first time. From Kathmandu, the vibrant capital, we will fly to Lukla, the starting point of our journey. From there, we follow the winding paths that cross the lush Rhododendron forest, where the scent of flowers and the serenity of nature envelop us in an atmosphere of tranquility and admiration. Our final destination is Everest Base Camp, located at the foot of the highest mountain in the world, where the imposing silence and grandeur of the mountains invite us to contemplate the vastness of the universe and to reflect on our own limits and aspirations.

Hi there! We are Guilherme and Nadine, a passionate globetrotting couple from Brazil and together we’ve been to over 67 countries bikepacking and backpacking, achieving lifetime goals as crossing more than 4000 km by bicycle in Europe, reaching Everest Base Camp, crossing from Kenya to Cape Town with public transportation. Now decided to share the best experiences we’ve had along our journey. We craft all itineraries with the most authentic and immersive experience we previously had. We both have healthcare skills background to assure your integrity all the way. Join us to live unforgettable lifetime experiences.

In Kathmandu we will stay in a 4-star hotel close to the main points of interest in Kathmandu, where it is easy to get around on foot with several restaurant options. The room has a suite with two single beds. The Hotel has a hearty breakfast and Wi-Fi throughout. In the mountains we will stay in villages along the trail. They are simple, non-luxurious accommodations. All rooms reserved are always for two people, with separate beds provided with bed linen, a pillow and a blanket. The rooms do not have internal heating or air conditioning. At the beginning of the trek, the accommodation infrastructure is a little better and it is not so cold at night, but as we go up, the structure of the rooms, bathrooms and other facilities decreases. It is important to note that in extreme overcrowding situations, rooms may contain more than two people, and there is the possibility of having to sleep in an open room with more people. It is not possible to predict the volume of people who will be in the mountains, so it is necessary to be understanding if this happens. Any questions about the trip? You can let me know in the Q&A section!

Tag 2-3
After breakfast, we will meet in the hotel lobby for a tour of Kathmandu. We will have a private car with a driver and a local guide who will take us to all the main tourist attractions in the city such as the Bodhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Swayambhu Temple and Durbar Square.
3

Lukla

Tag 3-4
After breakfast, we will head towards the airport and after landing in Lukla, we will meet the rest of our team, the porters who are incredible people with superhuman strength who will help us carry our bags during the trek. We will quickly pass through the streets of Lukla for tea, where we will review our trail planning once again, and begin our trek. After passing the door of Sherpa Padang Lhamu, the first Nepali woman to conquer the summit of Everest, we will walk 9km to Phakding, the village located at 2610 m above sea level, where we will rest for the night.
4

Namche Bazar

Tag 4-5
After breakfast, we will leave towards Namche Bazar, the largest village in the region located at 3440 m above sea level. During the walk through the Rhododendron forest, we will begin to notice the vegetation changing as we increase in elevation. On that day we will have our first glimpse of the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest, which will look at us from the corner of an imposing chain of snow-capped mountains. We will arrive in Namche without a doubt excited, and we will be able to relax and feel the vibe of the village after a long walk. It will be 15 km and 830 m of elevation.
5

Namche Bazar

Tag 5-6
On a trek where there is a high risk of Acute Mountain Sickness, or Altitude Sickness, it is essential that we prepare our bodies for these extreme conditions. On that day we will undertake an acclimatization walk to a height of 3880 m so that our body can feel this altitude gradient. We will rest for a few hours at this point, drinking tea or hot chocolate, enjoying one of the most incredible views of the trail. We will return to Namche Bazar, where we will sleep the night again in the same lodge. We will have the afternoon free to explore the village.
6

Tyangboche

Tag 6-7
After breakfast, we will leave towards the village of Tengboche, located at 3680 m. We will walk about 17 km, ending our walk at one of the most famous monasteries in the region, and if we are lucky, we will be able to attend a celebration and be blessed to take a safe walk to the imposing Himalayas. During the route we will have a break for lunch and tea.
7

Dingboche

Tag 7-8
After breakfast we will walk to the village of Dingboche, located at 4410 m. It will be a walk of approximately 12 km. We will pass side by side one of the most imposing mountains on the trail, Ama Dablan. With its unique design, it is translated into the local language as “Mother and String of Pearls” due to the glacier that surrounds the summit.
8

Dingboche

Tag 8-9
Once again, as we had a more significant climb on the last day (~ 796m) and will pass the 5000 mark in the next few days, it is necessary to adapt our body to this type of altitude. That day we will climb a trail around the village reaching a height of almost 5000 m. We will spend some time at this altitude and then return to the village and have the afternoon free.
9

Lobuche

Tag 9-10
After breakfast, we will set out on a walk towards the village of Lobuche, which is located at an altitude of approximately 4910 m. We will walk about 12 km. On the way we will pass the memorial to the climbers who lost their lives in the mountains. After arriving at the village we have the rest of the afternoon free.
10

Gorakshep

Tag 10-11
After breakfast, we will leave towards the last and highest village in the region, Gorak Shep, located at an altitude of 5140 m. It is a 5 km walk that will take around 3 hours due to the altitude and terrain. We will leave our bags at the accommodation, have lunch, and in the early afternoon we will leave for Everest Base Camp, which will be around 3.5 km away and will take around 2 hours to reach. With tears in our eyes and our spirits lifted by the achievement, we will be able to celebrate at the foot of the largest mountain in the world, the first to see the sun rise and the last to see the sun set. We'll spend some time there admiring the Kumbu Falls and the climb up the mountain, and then return to our accommodation in Gorak Sehp, where we'll spend the night.
11

Pheriche

Tag 11-12
For those with a strong spirit and high energy, you'll be invited to climb one of the few mountains in the region, Kala Patthar, to witness the sunrise. We'll start our ascent at 4:00 am, reaching 5550m altitude to catch the first rays of sun touching the peak of Everest right before us. After the climb, we'll return to our accommodation around 10:00 am for breakfast and begin our descent. During this time, we'll witness the return of vegetation left behind, and experience the ease of descending after spending days at high altitude. We'll trek approximately 12km to the village of Pheriche at an altitude of 4260m.
12

Namche Bazar

Tag 12-13
After breakfast, we'll continue our descent to the village of Namche Bazaar. It's a 19km walk, taking about 8 hours with proper breaks. Upon reaching Namche, you'll have the afternoon free to enjoy the village and reminisce about the feelings when we first passed through here.
13

Lukla

Tag 13-14
After breakfast, we'll trek about 18 km to Lukla village, reliving places that undoubtedly left a mark on us through effort, beauty, or reflection during the initial trekking days. After settling into our accommodation, we'll have the afternoon free to explore the village, share feelings, and photos. We'll have a farewell dinner with our team celebrating another successful trail. Overnight stay in Lukla.
14

Kathmandu

Tag 14-15
Early morning, we'll catch the flight to Kathmandu, checking in at the same hotel as day one. The rest of the day is free for exploration, rest, and reflection on our journey. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the city and buy souvenirs.
15

Kathmandu

Tag 15-16
This day serves as a backup in case of any unforeseen circumstances. Due to the region's climatic instability, flight cancellations back to Kathmandu are possible. This extra day allows us to plan alternative routes without affecting your departure flight. If all goes as planned, we'll spend another day in Kathmandu, exploring together. Options abound!
16

Kathmandu

Tag 16
Our last day of the expedition, our driver will be ready to take you to the airport. I have no doubt you'll leave this experience a person with different qualities and strengths from when you arrived. I hope, like us, the mountains have touched your heart, and Nepal and its people will be remembered in moments when you need courage or in a breeze carrying good energy.
