During the summer, however, the population increases with the arrival of tourists and vacationers, attracted by its stunning beaches with warm, crystal-clear waters. Here are some of the main attractions we will visit in Porto Covo: Praia do Banho: One of the many beautiful beaches sheltered by impressive cliffs. Praia Pequena and Praia da Engardaceira: These are often small sandy coves surrounded by impressive cliffs. Praia Grande and Praia da Ilha: These are the largest and easily accessible beaches. São Torpes: The main beach for surfers, with excellent waves. Pessegueiro Fort: A historic place to visit. Porto Covo Church: Located on the edge of Largo Marquês de Pombal. The village is located around 130km south of Lisbon and is a popular summer home getaway. Here are some of the main attractions we will visit in Melides: Melides Beach: A beautiful beach with long stretches of sand and a charming lagoon. Melides Lagoon: A calm body of water. Culture took to the streets on a Day Like This: An interesting monument to visit. Melides Horse Riding: An opportunity to explore the area on horseback.
