If the weather cooperates, we'll see the tiny island, 24 km x 12 km, in the middle of the deepest and largest ocean in the world. How does that feel? DAY 6: GRAND CIRCLE OF RAPA NUI OR REST DAY! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ Today is your choiceโ€”take a well-deserved rest or tackle the main challenge of our trip! You have two exciting options: OPTION #1: THE GRAND CIRCLE OF RAPA NUI CHALLENGE Participate in the Grand Circle of Rapa Nui challenge! ๐ŸŒ This means completing the largest possible circle around the island. We'll drive as close as possible to the coastline, then stop the car, walk the coastline trails closed to vehicles, and ride again for the next segment of the circle. On this unbeaten path, we'll visit statues and caves that most tourists can't reach. The trail will reveal hidden petroglyphs, abundant Moai, and more. ๐Ÿ—ฟ๐ŸŒฟ It will take almost 10 hours to complete the trail, but the good news is not everyone needs to do the whole hike. OPTION #2: RELAX AT THE BEACH If hiking all day isn't your thing, you can stay at the most beautiful beach on the island, where our hike starts. ๐Ÿ–๏ธ Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the area at your own pace. You'll have a car to take you back to the hotel once you're done.
