Taman Sari

It was built in the mid-18th century as a royal garden and bathing place for the Sultan of Yogyakarta and his family. Tamansari features a series of pools, canals, and fountains, as well as several buildings that served as bathhouses, meditation chambers, and living quarters for the royal family and their entourage. Finish and go to accommodation at Tumpak Sewu waterfall area.

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

Visitors can hike down to the base of the waterfall, which requires some physical fitness, and enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the pool at the bottom.
