Benalmádena
Tag 1-7
Benalmádena is a town which is only 20 kilometres from the centre of Málaga and offers many attractions and beautiful places to spend an unforgettable coworking trip. The offer of tourist attractions is the most complete of the Costa del Sol, and is also well distributed between the cities Malaga and Marbella. Gibraltar is also not far away. We will stay in a luxury villa 500m2 including, so there will be enough space and privacy, it is a beautiful and calm place ideal for working and chilling. This is where we will be based, and we can visit cities and arrange trips to destinations nearby such as Fuengirola, Malaga, Marbella, Granada and Gibraltar. These will be optional, you can decide where and when you would like to join. Usually these will be full day or half day trips, so we will always return home to the villa. Benalmádena town represents calmness through a picturesque urban landscape of narrow streets and plazas, while Benalmádena Costa brings together a good part of holiday offer and a long coastline divided into 15 beaches. The weather in October is still nice, so you can enjoy working also on the sunny terrace with an amazing sea view.

Gibraltar

Gibraltar is less than 2 hours away from our villa. We can rent a car or travel by bus, cost is between 10-20 euros. Gibraltar becomes a fair bit less busy in the fall, but still offering really comfortable weather for being outdoors and exploring this beautiful destination. Since Gibraltar is really small, covering just 6.7 km² (2.6 miles²)it is a perfect spot for a one-day walking trip. So the good news is that we shouldn’t have too much difficulty working our way through the city’s most popular attractions in less than 24 hours in Gibraltar The best place to start our Gibraltar tour would the territory’s main city center. Grand Casemates Square is perhaps the most important spot in the city center, it is also the largest square in Gibraltar. Here you will find nice and cozy cafés, restaurants as well as numerous historic landmarks such as Grand Casemates building, Grand Battery, North Bastion and the Landport Tunnel. Although Gibraltar is really small there is still a lot to explore and see. Gibraltar Botanic Gardens are definitely worth visiting. These tranquil subtropical gardens were established in 1816 by soldiers. Together with Alameda Wildlixe Park, they cover more than six hectares of vegetation and a number of historic monuments. One of the most famous must see spots in Gibraltar is the Gibraltar Nature Reserve and O'Hara's Battery, covering almost 40% of the territory within the borders of Gibraltar. The Gibraltar Naure Reserve Park is also a popular spot where tourist like to spend their time. Here you will see the famous Rock of Gibraltar and enjoy stunning panoramic views on both sides of the peninsula. To reach the famous Gibraltar Naure Reserve, we can either hike up the hills or hop on the iconic Gibraltar Cable Car. Another must see spot when visiting Gibraltar are the World War II Great Siege Tunnels. Gibraltar is covered in military fortifications from the past few centuries, built between years 1779 and 1783 as it has served as a vital military base for the United Kingdom. These tunnels stretch along the peninsula and are almost 55 kilomoters (34 miles) long, so we can explore them together if you are up for it. One of our last stop worth making time for is the very southern point of Gibraltar also known as Europa Point. From here you will have a stunning view across the Strait of Gibraltar all the way to the distant shores of Africa. The picturesque Europa Point Lighthouse is one of the most known landmarks of Gibraltar. In recent years several new attractions added to boost the sightseeing perspective of Gibraltar including the Windsor Suspension Bridge, a 71-metre (233 feet) bridge offering magnificient panoramic views of the whole region. Another cool and popular attraction is the glass-bottomed terrace called Skywalk Gibraltar.

Málaga

Malaga is in my view the most beautiful Spanish city on the Costa del Sol. Together we will discover its range of architectural styles, sandy yellow beaches and smooth blue sea and some of the best local restaurants and tapas bars in Andalucia. Since Malaga is only less than 20km from our villa, there will be plenty of opportunities to visit this picturesque city with more history, culture and amazing food than many cities put together. Malaga is really known for its amazing food, it is top-notch and the best way to experience it is by visiting the famous Mercado Central de Atarazanas, this is a busy market in a beautiful historic building offering a great variety of foods to taste. So in my opinion, Malage is one of the best food and drink destinations you cannot afford to miss when visiting Spain. I am sure that you will enjoy its buzzing and chilled vibe as much as I do every time I visit this city in the heart of Costa del Sol. Another great thing I love about this city, that it has almost 300 sunny days a year, so you can always enjoy a stroll through the historic city center.
