💙 Why Zakynthos Should Be Your Next Escape Imagine waking up to turquoise waters, sun-kissed beaches, and dramatic cliffs—welcome to Zakynthos, the sparkling jewel of the Ionian Sea. Known for its world-famous Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Beach), this Greek island is a paradise for beach lovers, adventure seekers, and anyone craving that effortless Mediterranean vibe. On this trip, I will plan all the sightseeing, so you can have a stress-free trip. We will as well visit the town, other beaches and islands, I will plan activities to do together but is also not a muss, the point of this trip is to relax and unwind !! We will relax by the most beautiful beaches by the Ionian Sea, and we will have amazing traditional Greek food. We will mostly walk and use public transport as it is very cheap and efficient. A lovely hotel with pool in the middle of town close to bars and restaurants is share place so everybody will have their own twin bed, if you want your own private bedroom that can be arrange in advance just let me know in time. All cost will be share in the group like food and transport maybe we will rent a car together to drive around the whole island.

On the first day we will arrive at our accommodation a lovely hotel with share bedrooms, everybody has their own twin bed. In zakynthos we will unwind and relax and enjoy the sunny days by the beach. If you want your own private room that can be arrange for other price

Navagio Beach Viewpoint

The most dramatic sight along the west coast is magnificent Shipwreck Beach. A favourite of Instagrammers travelling through the Greek islands, the beach is home to a stranded cargo ship that ran aground in the 1960s. The beach itself is only accessible on boat trips – in summer the waters immediately offshore are chock-a-block with sightseeing cruises – but you can admire it from above, and get that all-important selfie.

Let's live like locals and visit one of their favorite beaches, this beach has it all: crystal clear blue water, places to sun, cliff diving, a lively restaurant with views, and parking. we will walk and nearby there's the Porto Limnionas tavern.

Nobelos Seaside Lodge - Bio Restaurant

NOBELOS BEACH This is the stone beach in front of Nobelos Restaurant. We will be visiting for a nice lunch or dinner, we can grab a sunbed here and easily spend the afternoon with a drink. Nobelos Restaurant.

Cameo Island Beach Bar

Mamma Mia movie fans!! recognise Cameo Island as the wedding venue in the film. Cameo is a tiny island off Laganás in Zákynthos. It is a lush, green, and stunning southern Ionian island of the Greek archipelago.

Marathonísi

We will spend a day in Marathonisi, known to be the island where most sea turtles hatch their eggs. If we are lucky enough, we will get to see the turtles. As Zakynthos is known as the turtle island because of the shape.

St. Nicholas Beach

ST. NICHOLAS BEACH A beautiful sandy beach at the very southern part of the island with sunbeds. There’s an option for water sports nearby. Don't forget to bring your snorkels, so we can do some snorkelling.
