✈️ Trip overview: Join me a trip to Budapest, the capital of Hungary, which is considered as the second most beautiful capital in the world! Hungary's enchanting capital, where history and culture merge seamlessly along the banks of the majestic Danube River. Known as the "Pearl of the Danube," Budapest is a city of stunning architecture, thermal baths, and vibrant nightlife. We are going to explore a lot of things, ex. the Buda Castle, Gellért-Hill, river Danube by cruising on it and countless others, soak in the healing waters of Széchenyi Thermal Bath (optional), and stroll along the iconic Chain Bridge. I promise you an unforgettable experience in this city. Get ready to immerse yourself in this captivating blend of old-world charm and modern vitality. We are going to visit all the main sights and places in the city in a comfy way, by car 🚗, public transportation 🚌 & walking 🚶🏼‍♂️(also having a professional guide with us) as well. During our 4 days, we are going to try the best of Hungary and Budapest when it comes to food, drinks and nightlife. You are my guest for a welcome dinner on the first day, to get to know each other. The next days we can decide whether to make our own food, or to go out and eat the city 😋

🙋🏼‍♂️ About me: I am Balázs, 31 years old, a passionate traveller. I've registered JoinMyTrip to share my knowledge about travelling, show others the world around me, and make new friends :) As a local, I can show you this city's good vibe, the best spots and places to visit, eat and enjoy.

🏠 Accomodation: We will be staying in an apartment, close to the city centre. Two rooms are available, with shared beds. Free wifi is available at the apartment. Shops, public transportation and activities are close by. Parking is paid, however if you come by car, you are able to leave it further away for free, and I can transfer you back and forth. If you have time on the last day after leaving the apartment, I still can take care of your luggages for no extra costs! Remember, that I take care of your transportation during the whole trip :) If you have any questions, feel free to ask me anytime! Can't wait to travel with you! 🙌

Tag 1-2

On the first day, I am going to gather and welcome you. By monitoring your flight, I will pick you up at the airport, or train station, if you arrive via railway. First I take you to the apartment, where you can have your free time if you want. In the afternoon I tell you what we are going to do in the upcoming days. After everyone is arrived, we are going to have a dinner at a hungarian restaurant, and get to know each other. After dinner, we will get a small taste of the city's nightlife.

Tag 2

On the second day after having breakfast, we are finally going to explore the city. We are going to use public transportation and walk a lot in the downtown area. First, we visit the Castle district, which is on the Buda side of the city. After that we head to the most famous food market, where a pro guide is going to join us and show us the downtown area including the St. Stephen's Basilica, the Chain Bridge and the Hungarian Parliament. You will have some free time to get some souvenirs and stuff for the ones waiting for you at home 🤩 For dinner you can choose whether to have it in the vibrant party area, or you can have me prepare it, as I am good cook as well 😉

Heroes' Square

Tag 2-3

Third day is for the attractions further away, so we get in the car and explore them. Our first stop is going to be the top of the mighty Gellért Hill, which is the highest point in the city. Best pictures can be made here, as you can see literally the whole city. After that, we visit the Heroes' square, the City Park with it's fancy museums, and if you want, you can go and check out the Széchenyi Spa, which is the most famous one in the "City of baths". Entrance fee is around 28 €. If you decide to skip it and rather visit other places, I have some other cool places to show you in my pocket😇 Continuing to explore, you can have your own requests what to visit, if you have some special ones. I have more than enough tips in my mind, don't worry 😉 Finished with these sights, we are going to have a cruise on the river, which cannot be skipped during your stay here.

Tag 3-4

Last day is for saying goodbye, but if you still have time, we can do fun activities in the city. This depends completely on you. 3 days is just the beginning to visit what this city can offer you. You can keep exploring with me and get the last minute souvenirs! Remember, that I take you to the airport, and always welcome you to the next trip :)
