Hello Everyone! This trip was so demanded! 🫢 If you are looking for a genuinely culturally authentic and adventurous holiday, with adrenaline, amazement, and a ton of fun and sun, this is the perfect trip for you. ☀️🏜🌆 Check the previous experiences from other trip mates. I am in love with this country! 😍 I had the opportunity to visit Jordan twice last year and once in May this year. If you also want to see one of the most breathtaking World Heritage Sites yourself and live with Bedouins - come join me on this trip! About me: Lau here! I am 33 years old and originally from Colombia. However, I was raised in the Canary Islands, Spain. I also lived in Ireland and currently living in London. I am an experienced traveler - a photographer who never stops and can't wait to share beautiful experiences with others. I consider myself funny, energetic, curious, and in love with the beauty this earth has to offer. The price includes a private nice car for us! and a local driver to learn more about the culture :) We can also make stops in more places than the ones in the itinerary for a quick view of places. If you arrive +1 day earlier or leave +1 day later, I can help you with the accommodation (+extra costs) as the group may need the same, so we can have the whole group together 🥳 Overview of the stops: 🐪🌵🐪🌵 📍1st day: City Exploration of Amman We start the early morning by visiting the Citadel of Amman - the Roman Theatre - King Abdullah Mosque - walking downtown to the Souq - visiting the Jordan Museum - lunch to try the traditional meals - then back to the hotel / overnight in Amman. 📍2nd day: Pick-up from accommodation in Amman going to Mount Nebo - Madaba - Alshowbak Castle - overnight in Petra. 📍3rd day: Full-day visit in Petra - overnight in Petra. Transport to the different destinations (bus tickets, shuttle service, etc.). Trip Organization: I calculated a small Trip Leader fee since the whole organization of a trip takes quite a lot of time and effort. INCLUSIONS: Accommodation (Dorm & shared rooms, only within our group) Meals only in Wadi Rum (camp half board) Activities (Camp Jeep tour 3-5 hours with Sunset) All transport between stops & for activities mentioned in the itinerary Experienced, fun & knowledgeable trip leader! The reason this is excluded is that everyone needs to personally download the app, give personal information, and show it on arrival into the country. Spending money for extra activities/sightseeing & souvenirs you would like while we are in the country. Additional activities during the free time not mentioned in the itinerary. Additional transfers during the free time not mentioned in the itinerary. In the cities, we will try to reach everything on foot or by car! Alright, so far so good. Feeling excited?

Mount Nebo

Next! Mount Nebo - Umm ar Rasas - Pick-up from the accommodation in Amman going to Mount Nebo - Madaba - ar-Rasas -Alshowbak Castel - overnight in Petra. Mount Nebo is significant because of its role in the Old Testament. The Bible says that Mount Nebo was where Moses lived out his final days and saw the Promised Land, which he would never enter. It is said that Moses' body may be buried here, although that has yet to be proven.

Madaba

Tag 2
Then we have, Amman - Madaba. Later, we visit Madaba en route to Petra where we see the Church of St George, the Madaba Archaeological Park, the Apostles Church, and the Madaba Museum. During the early centuries of Christianity, Madaba was an important town as a stop along the King's Highway, a trade route.

Our next port of call is Umm ar-Rasas, one of Jordan’s World Heritage sites and once an important stop on the once-busy caravan routes. The impressive mosaic floor of the St. Stephen Church features medallions commemorating all the early Christian pilgrimage sites of the region, and the extensive ruins also include one of the area’s earliest Stylite towers, where a Byzantine hermit lived atop the tower and preached to the pilgrimage visitors. Wadi Musa

Tag 2-4
Full-day visit to Petra - overnight in Petra. Chief among Jordan’s many archaeological riches is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Rose City of Petra. The city was first settled around the 6th century BC by the Nabataean tribe from Western Arabia. Rediscovered in 1812, it remains on the list for many travellers to visit. We access the hidden archaeological treasures of Rose City on our walk through a narrow, deep siq, where the rocks finally give way to reveal the famous facade of Al-Khazneh (The Treasury). It's also possible to ride a horse through the Siq. Continuing our walk, we’ll go on to explore sections of this fantastic once-lost city which is full of tombs, temples, an impressive amphitheatre and a Roman collonaded street.

Wadi Rum Village

Tag 4-5
Petra - Wadi Rum. There is a chance to revisit Petra this morning before our afternoon drive to Wadi Rum. A vast, silent landscape of ancient riverbeds, pastel-coloured stretches of sandy desert, and amazing rock formations known as jebels that rise from the desert floor, awaits. Boarding our 4x4 jeeps, we take an exhilarating desert safari across the sand dunes, taking in the breathtaking scenery of Wadi Rum and tonight, we enjoy a Jordanian dinner at our camp.

Aqaba

Wadi Mujib

Tag 6
Driving from Aqapa to almujib 3 hours hike there then go to dead sea to float and try the mud - Heading to Amman for overnight. Wadi Mujib and embark on a moderate–paced two-hour trek along the Siq Trail. Measuring 500 meters in depth and spanning 4kms across, the impressive Wadi Mujib is one of Jordan’s most remarkable natural landscapes. This dramatic canyon features sheer rocky walls and sparkling waterways that range from puddle height to depths that are perfect for swimming (chest height or deeper) depending on the rainfall. When the water level is high you should be prepared for having to climb up ladders, clamber across boulders, and be happy to wade through water. The canyon is just one feature of the Mujib Biosphere Reserve, the lowest nature reserve in the world, home to a surprising diversity of wildlife and plant species. For those not interested in taking the full hike, you can walk part of it or wait by the Visitor Centre until the group returns. After our trek, we make our way to the Dead Sea.

Dead Sea

Tag 6
The lowest point on the earth's surface at more than 400m below sea level, the Dead Sea is a natural phenomenon and high on most travellers' bucket lists. Lucky for us, we have the whole day to spend here, whiling away the time bobbing in its mineral-rich buoyant waters and lathering up with a detoxifying mud bath. Later today, there is an optional visit to the Ma'in hot springs (a series of waterfalls and hot springs) and a sacred baptism site where Jesus Christ is thought to have been baptised (payable locally).
10

Amman

Tag 6-7
We will spend the night at the accommodation in Amman. We can go for dinner to a traditional restaurant (the group can agree on what to do that night). They can discover the place independently. However, we need to be ready for the next day's trip.
11

Jerash

Tag 7
Amman - Jerash - Amman. Heading north, we visit Jerash, the Graeco-Roman city known as the ‘Pompeii of the East’. Built over 2,000 years ago, Jerash is widely regarded as the best-preserved city of the Decapolis, a confederation of 10 Roman cities dating from the 1st century! We explore the site taking in the colonnaded street, amphitheater, nymphaeum, forum, and more before continuing to Umm Qais (Gadara), a dramatic black-basalt Roman city of the Decapolis with panoramic views over the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights. Later this evening, we head out for a meal and a stroll along Rainbow Street to experience modern Amman with its hip bars, and rooftop restaurants.
