Mt. Annapurna (8091m) of Nepal is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the journey to its base camp, which is at 4130m/13549ft height, is one of the most popular walks on earth. Moreover, we reach our destination via Mt. Machapuchhre (Fishtail) which is revered by the Nepalese for its unique beauty. Furthermore, thanks to the well-groomed itinerary of the Annapurna Base Camp trekking package, it is a popular choice among diverse outdoor enthusiasts, from solo female travelers to hikers traveling in groups to Nepal.

Details about the accommodation: While trekking, we provide lunch at Tea Houses along the way, in addition to breakfast and dinner at the Tea House accommodations. Throughout our trekking adventures, we will be lodging in tea houses along the route. These tea houses offer basic accommodations for trekkers, including simple rooms with shared facilities such as bathrooms. If you prefer a more comfortable stay, there is an option to reserve a private room at the tea house. Kathmandu

Tag 1-2

Upon arriving in Kathmandu, a representative will pick you up from the airport and escort you to the hotel. You may take some rest to recharge after your journey. In the evening, delight in a welcome dinner where you will be served authentic Nepalese cuisine, allowing you to delve into the country's rich food culture. You will spend the night in Kathmandu. Ghandruk

Tag 2-3

We will take an early morning flight to Pokhara, a stunning city with beautiful lakes. During the flight, we will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas from the right side of the airplane. After arriving at Pokhara airport, we will embark on a comfortable 2-hour drive to Kimche. Once we reach Kimche, we will begin our trek towards Ghandruk, a picturesque village primarily inhabited by the Gurung community. If time allows, we will also have the chance to visit the Gurung museum today. We will spend the night in Ghandruk.

Chhomrong

Tag 3-4

At this point, we will climb uphill for approximately an hour until we reach Kimrungdanda. Along the way, we will be treated to magnificent views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre), and Ganggapurna. After that, we will descend steeply to reach the Kimrong Khola. Following the descent, there will be a short but steep ascent to Chere Danda, followed by a gentle walk leading us to Chhomrong. Chhomrong is a charming village situated at the foot of the colossal Annapurna massif. We will spend the night in Chhomrong.

Bamboo

Tag 4-5

We will descend using 2500 stone steps and cross the bridge over Chhomrong Khola. From there, we will begin an uphill climb to reach Sinuwa. After that, we will traverse through a lovely forest until we reach Kuldihar, followed by a simple downhill walk to Bamboo. We will spend the night in Bamboo.

Deurali

Tag 5-6

After having breakfast, we will proceed through a bamboo forest, which can be damp and cold. We will steadily ascend, encountering a few steep sections along the way. As we reach Himalaya Hotel, the forest will open up, and we will once again be greeted by the warmth of the sun and breathtaking views of the glacial river below. We will then embark on a steep climb through a drier forest until we reach Hinku Cave. From this point, we will have a clear view of the trail descending closer to the river before ascending again towards Deurali. This stretch of the journey offers the most scenic vistas of the day. The vegetation becomes sparse, revealing mesmerizing views of the valley, the river below, and the imposing rock-face cliffs above adorned with delicate waterfalls. We will spend the night in Deurali.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Tag 6-7

Today, we will embark on a gentle climb through a river bed and then navigate a steep trail along the mountainside. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp requires some effort. Upon reaching Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we will be rewarded with magnificent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre, as well as Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli, and Gangapurna. It is truly a gratifying experience. As we continue towards Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), the vegetation gradually disappears, and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. At this point, we will be greeted with awe-inspiring views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna, towering above us. The sanctuary offers a dynamic and unobstructed 360-degree panorama. From the base camp, we will once again relish in the mesmerizing views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and other magnificent peaks. We will spend the night in Annapurna Base Camp.

Bamboo

Tag 7-8

From Annapurna Base Camp, we will follow the same path back to Bamboo. The trek today involves descending, making it relatively easier. Additionally, we will be accompanied by the beautiful scenery throughout the journey, which will surely lift our spirits. We will spend the night in Bamboo.

Jhinu Danda

Tag 8-9

From Bamboo, we will begin an uphill trek towards Kuldighar, and then proceed with a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Afterward, we will climb up the stone steps to reach Chhomrong. From Chhomrong, the trail will lead us downhill to Jhinu Danda, where we will be spending the night. Today, we will have the chance to relax and rejuvenate our tired bodies by indulging in the hot springs. These natural hot springs are located just a short 15-20 minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda. It will be a delightful experience to soothe our aches and pains. We will spend the night in Jhinu Danda.

Pokhara

Tag 9-10

After leaving Mathque, we will embark on a scenic journey towards Pokhara, where we can revel in the stunning hilly landscapes of western Nepal. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to stop for lunch. Our trek concludes upon reaching Mathque, where we will then transfer to a private vehicle for the remaining journey to Pokhara. We will spend the night in Pokhara.

Kathmandu

Tag 10-11

In the afternoon, we will take a flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we will proceed to our hotel for check-in. The rest of the day will be at our leisure, allowing us to engage in some last-minute shopping or visit any landmarks that we might have missed during our first day in Kathmandu. In the evening, we will gather for a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of our journey. We will spend the night in Kathmandu.
