Utrecht, one of the Netherlands' oldest and most charming cities, offers a unique blend of medieval architecture, castle, picturesque canals, and underground hard techno scene. Verknipt Festival is a popular electronic music festival held annually in the Netherlands, known for its strong focus on underground electronic music genres, including hard techno, techno and drum & bass. The festival has a reputation for offering an intense, high-energy experience, attracting music lovers from around the world. This year will be the 10th EDITION, it's gonna be EPIC 🎉 The Monday after Verknipt Festival 2025 is a national holiday in most of the European countries, so almost everyone has a day off! That means you can rave all weekend and rest on Monday 😎

I have been to over 10 festivals in the last 2 years and Verknipt Festival is always on my bucket list 🖤 I can't wait to be raving in the sun with all of you. Personally I have been to Utrecht multiple times due to work and private trips, so I also know the city on a good level :)

We will be staying in a hostel in the city center of Utrecht, where we can easily meet other ravers who are going to Verknipt. The breakfast is included in the price. Utrecht can be expensive in terms of hotels and Airbnb options, so hostels allow us to keep costs low without sacrificing the experience. Any questions about the trip? On Saturday, it will be the day 1 of Verknipt 🖤 (june 7, festival hours: 12:00 - 23:00) Verknipt Festival is being held at Strijkviertelplas, a scenic lake located in the southern part of Utrecht. On our last day, we will be visiting Castle de Haar (opening hour: 11:00-17:00) It is the largest and most majestic castle in the Netherlands, for a glimpse into the country's aristocratic history. Located just outside Utrecht, the castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens, a park, and a moat. Explore its opulent interiors, filled with antique furniture and stunning art, reflecting the grandeur of its former inhabitants.
