Hanzhe Yu

Hanzhe hails from Limerick! I'm a Chinese lad living and working in Ireland, with a passion for reading, cooking, going to the gym, and, of course, travelling! I hold an M.A. in International Tourism from the University of Limerick and currently work for a SaaS company. Before I visit new countries and cities, I dive into their geography, history, people, and culture, comparing my research with my initial ideas of the place. Once I arrive, I get to see the scenery and meet the people I've read about, feel the real vibe, expand my horizons, and deepen my understanding of the world and its people. I am fond of an old Chinese proverb: "It is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books." A good trip is not only relaxing and enjoyable but also enhances our wisdom. Every destination has its own beauty and story, enriching travellers like you and me. When I was on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, a line popped into my head: "Time is the longest river, and the world is the broadest canvas." Maybe we'll bump into each other somewhere on this amazing planet.😊
