- You must have 40+ qualified responses to be able to request your first fully planned and customized itinerary for your dream trip.
- A qualified response is adults 18+ with a minimum of $1,500 travel budget.
- Why 40+ qualified responses? Our experience shows that when a host gets 40+ responses, they are free to choose their TripMates in less than a month.
- Once you hit 40 responses, keep going! The more responses you get, the higher the chances of you confirming your trip even faster and filling up all the available spots. Once you've received 40+ qualified responses you can also immediately request more trips
The earlier the better! Once your itinerary is ready feel free to start promoting on your Social Media accounts. We would recommend a combination of Instagram stories, Reels, and TikToks.
- For Creator TripLeaders: you are covering your own trip cost, your CoTripLeader will help you with the cost calculation and make sure you're earning the most from your trip
- For Elite Creator: everything in the itinerary is included for you at no cost
- Creator TripLeader: You are free to customize our ready-made trip itinerary however you like.
- Elite TripLeader: We will have an itinerary ready for you based on your survey result and your wishes. On top, you are free to change 1 stop. We'll be happy to work with you.
A destination expert is usually a local guide and part of our TripLeader team, they will help you with the itinerary, destination-related questions, and will physically be present and guide the trip for Elite TripLeaders.
A CoTripLeader helps with setting up the trip, calculating trip costs, selecting the right TripMates, and any other question that might arise.
Creator TripLeader & Elite Creator are applicable to priority support from the JoinMyTrip team at all times. You will also get permanent access to our TripLeader Academy, and weekly demand analysis for top destinations.

- Creator TripLeaders: You're free to choose your accommodation. Budget trips? We'll share a list of affordable yet comfortable accommodations you can opt for. Luxury trips? We guess you know best what you and your followers like.
- Elite Creator: The choice of accommodation varies depending on the group size, it can be a 4-5* hotel or even a pool villa
We'd recommend 3-5 months to allow your audience to plan and make the decision.
To make your trips major success we need to get a better understanding of what your audience wants. It will also help us match the destination & budget, give you credible insight, and help you plan future trips better!
All international payments are handled for free for you with Stripe as a secure, fast, and trusted provider (the service provided by Stripe accounts for 3% of the 10% platform fee). JoinMyTrip offers a free settlement and mediation service when there is a dispute between ProTripLeaders and TripMates.
Creator TripLeader and Elite Creator will have priority promotion across all our Social Media channels, promotional emails, and be featured on our home page.
Yes! Everyone that's joining a trip on joinmytrip.com should have a foreign health insurance. Sometimes the health insurance from your home country covers traveling to specific countries, please check before your trip which countries and services are included.
Why do I need additional health insurance?
Your health insurance may pay none or only a small part of your treatment costs abroad. Those costs can be very high and without insurance, you will have to pay these expenses. For example, one night in a Moroccan hospital without a single treatment costs 550€.
Luckily, JoinMyTrip Travel Insurance (powered by Allianz) is now included at no extra cost for all German and Austrian residents who travel with JoinMyTrip.
