Trip Itinerary
1
Taipei City
Day 1-4
Our home base will be in Taipei! Depending on our working hours, we can explore the city before work and do some fun activities together. Before our trip, I will be making a WhatsApp group, so everyone can get to know each other, and we will be discussing our plan together. Taiwan has been at the top of the list of countries with digital nomad visas for many nomads. Excellent life quality, fast and reliable Internet, and fantastic culture and nature are some of the most significant benefits that make Taiwan one of the best places for expats and digital nomads.

Taipei City
Day 4-5
We will be getting around by train and I recommend going on a day trip on the weekend, as we won't have to work. There are several options to choose from. For example Shifen, a tiny village home to the widest waterfall in Taiwan or Yehliu Geopark, a massive geopark, located along the shores of Taiwan’s north coast.

Taipei City
Day 5-6
Let's explore Taipei! I would like to hike up Elephant Mountain for stunning views of Taipei and Taipei 101. The hike takes about 20-30 minutes only. Also, we should check out Yongkang Street, famous for its bustling food scene. Take a leisurely stroll down the street and sample local delicacies such as beef noodles, pork buns, and bubble tea from the various eateries and vendors.
4
Jioufen
Day 6-7
Jioufen is not too far from Taipei, so it can be done before work starts, if we head out early! iufen is one of the prettiest (and most romantic) places in all of Taiwan! With jaw-dropping mountain and ocean views, lantern-filled alleys, quaint tea houses, antique shops, and an eclectic foodie scene, Jiufen is an unmissable destination when in Taiwan! There are many awesome things to do in Jiufen, but most day-trippers only visit for one thing: the FOOD! Jiufen has an incredible food scene. All along its Old Street, you can sample some of Taiwan’s very best street food. Some must-try classics include peanut ice cream crêpes, fish balls, glutinous rice cakes, and taro balls.

Taipei City
Day 7-8
Traditional cooking class! Taiwan's culinary heritage is rich and diverse, influenced by various cultures including Chinese, Japanese, and indigenous Taiwanese. Taking a cooking class allows you to immerse yourself in Taiwanese culture, learn about traditional ingredients and cooking techniques, and gain insight into the local way of life. The cooking class is held by a local, it starts in the morning and takes about three hours.
