What's special?
special Pizza making class
This trip is dedicated for everyone who has never been to Rome and want to visit all the most important sightseeing points. My plan is to design this trip in a way that in the afternoons/evenings, after sightseeing, we would have a free time to enjoy Italian food, pizzas, pastas, gelato, Tiramisu and a few Aperols... 😄 I've never been to Rome, but I have organized trips to Rome for my clients, so you can trust me - I did as much research as possible about activities, tips when and how to visit them, best local restaurants, etc. I am looking for a fun and easy going company - let's make this short weekend trip unforgettable! 😊 I am always very well prepared, so you will not have to worry about opening times, how to reach sightseeing places, how to buy tickets etc. I will assist you with all the details, you can relax and follow my lead. 😊 Also, if you will be flying to Fiumicino Airport, I will provide to you details what is the easiest way to get to the city center, so you also do not have to worry about that.

About me! I am working as a travel planner, I am planning trips for individuals, also guided, co-working and yoga trips. I also work as a yoga teacher part time. 😊 People say that I am caring, easy going and open minded. I love meeting new people, sharing experiences and learning from each other.

Details about the accommodation: I am still looking at Airbnb and Hotels, but you can be assured that you will have a separate bed. It might be that you will have to share a room, but you will have a bed just for you. Also, since it is a quite short weekend trip , the plan is to save time and live in a city center, in a comfortable location from which we could reach all the objects by foot. The accommodation in a city center is quite expensive, but we will save on transportation. Comfort and good rest is very important to me, so you can be assured I will rent a decent place, no hostel. Keep me posted in the Q&A section if you have questions about the trip!

Miglė is the best person someone could have for a first JMT experience! She was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make my time in Druskininkai and the rest of Lithuania amazing. I felt at ease and at home from the moment I arrived. The activities she planned for me were a perfect blend of relaxing and exciting - starting every day with yoga in the park was fantastic, but we also stayed active with hikes, bike rides, a night out in Kaunas, and kayaking with friends. Druskininkai itself is a beautiful city with a great history and plenty of interesting stories that Miglė shared. We visited museums, parks, restaurants, spas, and lakes. Even though every day was packed with activity, Miglė never made me feel rushed. Anything I wanted to do, she would take care of the booking and make sure I was able to get there easily and on time. This included rides to and from Vilnius airport. I HIGHLY recommend spending time in Lithuania and trusting Miglė as a trip leader. I hope to have many more experiences with JMT as a result of my experience. Thank you Miglė!

This was my first trip with JMT, and it was absolutely wonderful. Druskininkai is a very beautiful town, with a perfect balance between nature and human activities. As a trip leader, Migle was very caring with. She was very easy to get along with ,and we had a great connection. She prepared a nice activity plan, with sightseeing, museum visit, relaxation with spa procedures, swimming, hiking, biking, good food and so more! Some staff in the spas may not speak english fluently, but it was not a big deal; Migle was nicely helping with the bookings. The daily yoga classes with Migle were the ice on the cake. They helped us to start our days the perfect way. I spent wonderful moments in Druskininkai, and I'll go back there for sure. Thank you Migle for being such a nice trip leader !

This trip with Miglė was my first JMT trip. Miglė was very responsive before and during the trip, giving personalized ideas of activities to do in her hometown as well as in Lithuania. It was wonderful to see some hidden gems of Druskininkai and its surroundings ! Miglė always adjusted to the group, and stayed flexible in terms of planning. She would suggest activities, but never impose. I never got bored, there were always things to do and Miglė sometimes improvised to make sure we would have the best and most complete experience. But there were also some slower, self-focusing moments with her yoga classes. If you want a trip with a good balance of active and relaxing, then I think traveling with Miglė is a perfect choice :)

Trip Itinerary
1

Metropolitan City of Rome Capital

Day 1-2
On Friday coming to Rome, checking into hotel, getting to know each other, having dinner in the evening. My flight is quite late in the evening, I should reach Rome city center at around 9 pm local time. Our common activities will start from Saturday.
2

Ancient rome

Day 2-3
Saturday is dedicated for visiting most important objects in the Ancient Rome: Coliseum, Forum and Palatine Hill. The plan is to start with a Coliseum, then have lunch (I have a list of best places where to eat), then continue exploring. In the evening we will have a pizza making class with a local chef!
3

Rome

Day 3-4
Since Vatican is closed on Sundays, this day is dedicated for a Historical center. Visiting Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna. In the evening we will have dinner in one of the most authentic neighborhoods in Rome - Trastevere.
4

Vatican City

Day 4-5
Monday is dedicated for visiting Vatican city and most important places there: St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican museum and Castel Sant'Angelo. Again, I do have local recommendations where to have lunch. Vatican museum and Basilica are huge, so it will take us quite some time to visit those places. Our sightseeing day will end quite late in the afternoon, so the plan for the evening is to enjoy our last dinner in one of the restaurants.
