Day 1 - Saturday, October 14th - Arrival in Bogotá Bogotá is the perfect first stop for this trip due to its excellent connectivity, being the capital of Colombia, and the wide range of activities and restaurants it offers. With its modern airport, Aeropuerto el Dorado, travelers can easily connect to other destinations in Colombia and beyond. 🎉Upon your arrival in Bogota, I will arrange for your accommodation in your room. Afterward, we will prepare ourselves for a small celebration. 🥳🥳 WELCOME TO COLOMBIAN ADVENTURE PARTY 🌃Tonight in Bogota, we kick off our adventure with a bang! We'll savor delicious Colombian cuisine and drinks, and get the party started with a pre-game at our accommodation where we'll indulge in the local favorite, aguardiente. 🪩After that, we will head out to the best places to party in Bogota, enjoying the vibrant nightlife the city has to offer. 💃🏽🕺🏽We will end our night dancing and socializing with locals and fellow travelers alike in the bustling nightlife scene of Bogota.

Day 2-3
Day 2 - Sunday, October 15th - Walking City Tour Bogota 🚶🏽We will explore the lively capital of Colombia on foot with a free walking city tour in Bogota! Start at the city center and visit top attractions like Plaza de Bolivar, La Candelaria, and the Gold Museum. Our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating historical and cultural insights, giving you a deeper understanding of Bogota's past and present. Indulge in traditional cuisine from local markets and marvel at the stunning street art that adorns the city. Joining a walking city tour is the perfect way to discover the highlights of Bogota and immerse ourselves in its rich culture and heritage. (4 - 6 hours) ➡️Optional: Traditional Indigenous Medicine Workshop (not included in final price) (3 hours) I would appreciate the opportunity to attend a 3-hour traditional cultural workshop focused on indigenous practices. The workshop includes learning about four natural preparations made from tobacco and coca plants that the Amazonian indigenous use as medicine. It costs 25 USD per person. On the first virtual meeting of the group, you can determine whether or not to participate in this workshop.

Day 3-4
Day 3 - Monday, October 16th - Arrival in Cali, Valle del Cauca, and optional Salsa classes Cali, Colombia is a vibrant city that offers a unique blend of culture, history, and natural beauty. One of its biggest draws is its world-renowned salsa dancing scene, which attracts visitors from all over the world. Additionally, Cali is home to stunning colonial architecture, vibrant street art, and beautiful parks, making it a great destination for anyone interested in exploring South American culture. The city also boasts a diverse culinary scene, with traditional dishes like sancocho and empanadas, as well as modern fusion cuisine. 🚌Today, we transfer from Bogota to Cali (bus 9 hours) - If you prefer to travel by air, please look at my other trip, which includes single accommodation (one bedroom per person) and air tickets. Upon arrival in Cali, I will arrange for your accommodation in your room. After settling into the accommodation, free time is available. For those who enjoy exploring their destination to the fullest, there is an optional activity programmed for the evening. ➡️Optional: Salsa Route in Cali (not included in final price) (3-4 hours) I would love us to go to the Salsa route in Cali, as it is a must-do experience for anyone who loves dancing, music, and culture. Known as the "salsa capital of the world," Cali offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant and energetic world of salsa dancing. The city is home to numerous salsa clubs, each with its own unique style and atmosphere. On the salsa route, you'll have the chance to visit several of these clubs, dance the night away, and meet locals and other travelers who share your passion for salsa. Along the way, you'll also get a taste of Cali's rich cultural heritage, as well as its delicious food and drink. On the first virtual meeting of the group, you can determine whether or not to participate in this activity.

Day 4 - Tuesday, October 17th - Free Walking City Tour in Cali 🚶🏽We will explore the branch of heaven on foot with a free walking city tour in Cali! (3-4 hours) A wonderful way to discover Cali's heritage and culture. The tour commences at the well-known Cristo Rey statue which offers breathtaking views of the city. The San Antonio neighborhood is another must-see destination on the tour where visitors can admire the colorful colonial architecture and vibrant street art. Additionally, we can indulge in Cali's delectable cuisine, including the famous empanadas, arepas, and churros. During the guided tour, I will be happy to explain more about the food and its significance in Cali's culinary scene.

Day 5-6
Day 5 - Wednesday, October 18th - Cali - Medellin - Arrival in Medellin, Antioquia Medellin, known as the "City of Eternal Spring," is the second biggest city in Colombia. With its mild climate and stunning mountain views, it's no wonder why it's a favorite among travelers. This top destination is a perfect blend of modern city life and beautiful natural surroundings. The city is known for its vibrant culture, friendly locals, and delicious cuisine. 🚌Today, we transfer from Cali to Medellin (bus 6.5 hours) - If you prefer to travel by air, please look at my other trip, which includes single accommodation (one bedroom per person) and air tickets. Upon arrival in Medellin, I will arrange for your accommodation in your room. 🚶🏽We will explore the city of eternal spring on foot with a free walking city tour in Medellin! (4-6 hours) You can expect to see colorful street art, bustling markets, and historic landmarks, such as the Plaza Botero, the Botanical Garden, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The tour guides often share insights about Medellin's transformation from a violent city to a thriving metropolis, highlighting the resilience of its people. We will also taste local foods and drinks, such as arepas and coffee.

Day 6 - Thursday, October 19th - Medellin Today is a free day in Medellin as it can be a great opportunity for Team Mates to work remotely and also enjoy some individual activities. Reservations to enjoy a delicious Bandeja Paisa for lunch are made. 🌃Night out in Medellin (not included in final price) (3-4 hours) I would love to take you to a night out in Medellin so you can enjoy this unforgettable, thrilling, and exciting experience. As the city comes alive after dark, expect to find a variety of entertainment options, including bars, clubs, and live music venues. The local nightlife scene caters to all tastes, from salsa dancing to electronic music. Be prepared for crowds and a lively atmosphere, especially in popular areas like Parque Lleras and El Poblado. Safety is always a concern, so it's best to stick to well-lit and busy areas, and avoid flashing valuables. Overall, a night out in Medellin promises to be an unforgettable and thrilling experience.

Day 7-8
Day 7 - Friday, October 20th - Medellin - Cartagena - Arrival in Cartagena de Indias, Bolivar With its beautiful beaches, historic landmarks, and vibrant culture, Cartagena is a favorite among travelers. This city is internationally known for its well-preserved colonial architecture, including the iconic walls that surround the Old Town. Foodies will enjoy the diverse culinary offerings, which include traditional Colombian dishes and seafood specialties. 🚌Today, we transfer from Medellin to Cartagena (bus 14 hours) - If you prefer to travel by air, please look at my other trip, which includes single accommodation (one bedroom per person) and air tickets. Upon arrival in Cartagena, I will arrange for your accommodation in your room. After settling into the accommodation, free time is available. For those who enjoy exploring their destination to the fullest, there is an optional activity programmed for the evening. ➡️Optional: Drinks in a colonial house bar in Cartagena (not included in final price) (3-4 hours) If we decide to go out tonight, we will go back to our accommodation after the city tour, have some rest and free time, and at the scheduled time, we will go out to have dinner and do some bar hopping in the center of the city.

Day 8 - Satuday, October 21th - Free Walking City tour in Cartagena 🚶🏽We will explore the walled city on foot with a free walking city tour in Cartagena! (2-3 hours) We will explore the colorful colonial architecture and learn about the city's rich past from your knowledgeable guide. Stroll through the lively plazas and try some of the local cuisine from street vendors. We will visit iconic landmarks such as the San Felipe de Barajas Castle and the Cathedral of Cartagena. Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and flavors of this beautiful city on a walking tour that will leave you with unforgettable memories. For those who enjoy exploring their destination to the fullest, there is two optional activities programmed for the evening. ➡️Optional 1: Excursion to Tierra Bomba with lunch (not included in final price) (4-6 hours) Experience a day of pure relaxation on the breathtaking beaches of Tierra Bomba, Cartagena, Colombia. First, we got to get there with a scenic boat ride to the island, taking in the beautiful views along the way. Upon arrival, we can rent a beach umbrella and chairs, and get ready to bask in the sun and sea breeze. Stay hydrated and satisfied with fresh seafood and cold drinks available from vendors right on the beach. For those seeking adventure, take part in water sports such as jet skiing and parasailing. ⛱️As the sun starts to set, the sky is painted with a spectrum of vibrant colors over the tranquil waters, providing the perfect backdrop for a picturesque end to a perfect beach day. ➡️Optional 2: Cooking classes in Cartagena (not included in final price) (3-4 hours) A typical Caribbean Colombian cooking lesson would likely involve learning to make popular dishes like patacones (fried plantains), arroz con coco (coconut rice), and sancocho (a hearty soup/stew). The lesson might begin with a trip to a local market to select ingredients and learn about the different spices and flavors used in the region's cuisine. Back in the kitchen, the instructor might demonstrate techniques for preparing and cooking the various dishes, with participants getting hands-on experience. 🦐The lesson would culminate in a delicious feast, accompanied by music and lively conversation about the food and culture of the Caribbean coast of Colombia.

Day 9 - Sunday, October 22th - End of Trip in Cartagena de Indias - Transfer to Airport 🫂Today, we will conclude our trip with a farewell breakfast and check out from our accommodation. Afterward, we will proceed to the airport and bid our goodbyes with a warm hug.
