Hey 😊 Let’s live and work together in beautiful Vietnam! We will explore the area of Hanoi before work and on the weekends. It will be so much fun :) February is a great time to visit Vietnam as the weather will be amazing. I have traveled through Southeast Asia for many months, however never made it to Vietnam, so I am very excited to explore with you!

About me: I’m Kathi, 28 years old and from Austria. I already organized many JoinMyTrip group trips, and it was always a lot of fun! You can find all my trips when you click on my profile. Or read more about me here: https://www.joinmytrip.com/en/t/tripleader/kathichristalon

Accommodation: We will be staying in a beautiful house in Hanoi and you will have a shared room. If you want to have a private room, have a look at my other trip option. You can decide to work from your own room or the big table in the common spaces. The exact accommodation will be decided depending on how many TripMates will join us! Trip Itinerary
1

Hanoi

Day 1-3
Our home base will be in Hanoi! Depending on our working hours, we can explore the city before work and do some fun activities together. Before our trip, I will be making a WhatsApp group, so everyone can get to know each other, and we will be discussing our plan together.
2

Quảng Phú Cầu

Day 3-5
Quảng Phú Cầu, also known as the Flower Village, is a famous flower-growing area, renowned for its picturesque landscapes of colorful flower fields stretching across vast areas of land. The village is well-known for cultivating various types of flowers, including chrysanthemums, marigolds, roses, daisies, and more. In addition to admiring the flower fields, visitors can also learn about the cultivation techniques used by local farmers and gain insights into the flower-growing industry in Vietnam. Some farms in the village may offer guided tours or allow visitors to participate in hands-on activities such as flower picking or making flower arrangements.
3

Hanoi

Day 5-6
I would like to visit Dong Xuan Market, one of the oldest and largest indoor markets in Hanoi. There, a variety of goods, including clothing, souvenirs, household items, and local street food, gets sold. We can experience the hustle and bustle of the market and engage with local vendors to get a glimpse into everyday life in Hanoi.
4

Hạ Long Bay

Day 6-7
I suggest doing a day trip to Ha Long Bay! With more than a thousand limestone peaks soaring from its crystalline emerald water, this area is one of the natural wonders of Vietnam and now one of four World Heritage listed sites in Vietnam.
5

Hanoi Old Quarter

Day 7-8
Let's visit Hanoi's Ancient Quarter! Wander through the bustling streets, a maze of narrow alleys and streets filled with shops, markets, and traditional houses. Take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the vibrant street life. Don't miss the opportunity to sample some street food specialties like pho (Vietnamese noodle soup), banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich), or egg coffee at one of the local cafés.
