Trip Itinerary
1
Belém
Day 1-4
Reception and transportation to the hotel (Cas’Amazonia) Note: It is best to arrive until 3pm and spend the afternoon at the Estaçao das Docas, a cultural and leisure complex installed in English iron warehouses from the nineteenth century that have been completely restored on the shore of Guajará Bay - the suggestion is to taste craft beers with regional flavors at Amazon Beer and then have dinner at one of the local restaurants.
2
Complex Ver-O-Peso
Day 4
The beginning of the second day starts with a visit to the Ver-o-Peso Market, where products extracted from the Amazon forest and rivers arrive from all parts of the interior of the state, a great mosaic of Amazonian colors, aromas, and flavors, so characteristic of Pará. Continuation on a walk through Cidade Velha (Old Town) to get to know one of the richest historical and architectural treasures of the country, passing through the narrow streets and historical places where the city began. During the night we can explore the nightlife in the city, going to some of the best spots, where we will find great music, people dancing, late-night snacks :)
3
Ilha do Cumb
Day 4
Ilha do Combu is one of the best suggestions of places to visit that we could give you. Very frequented by the residents of Belém and region, this is a destination that can be visited in just one day. With tourism totally focused on the beauties of the Amazon, you will be enchanted by the local beauty and also surprised by the native industry!
4
Marajó
Day 4-6
This is the largest island in Brazil, as well as the largest fluvial-sea island in the world, with approximately forty thousand square kilometers, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and the Amazon and Tocantins rivers. It is located in the state of Pará. Because it is still relatively unknown, its natural landscapes, which include streams, dunes, rivers, deserted beaches of brackish water, mangroves, and forests of native vegetation, have been well-preserved, and it is regarded as one of the Amazon's most preserved ecological sanctuaries. Furthermore, with over 600,000 buffalo, this island is unique in that it is home to the country's largest buffalo herd.
5
Santarém
Day 6-11
Santarém is a true treasure, located in the heart of the Amazon region at the crossroads of the Tapajós and Amazonas rivers. With its strategic geographical position, the city is an ideal starting point for discovering the natural resources that abound in the surrounding area. There is no shortage of places of interest in the Santarém region from the paradise beaches of Alter do Chão to the lush surrounding vegetation, waterfalls, Igarapé, islands and other wonders provided by Mother Nature. Santarém was long overshadowed by its older sisters, Manaus and Belém. Since, it has proven to be a prime natural destination in the heart of the Amazon and its ecotourism makes it very attractive to travelers looking for adventure.
6
Manaus
Day 11-14
The capital of Amazonas State, Manaus is the Amazon's most popular tourist destination, largely because of the many jungle lodges in the surrounding area. The city's principal attractions are its lavish, brightly colored houses and civic buildings—vestiges of an opulent time when the wealthy sent their laundry to be done in Europe and sent for Old World artisans and engineers to build their New World monuments.
